A king, a crown, a castle grand,
All these things I once did demand.
But now I see, with new found grace,
That all I need is just a place
To rest my head, and call my own.

I’ve learned that power is fleeting,
And wealth is nothing more than meeting
The needs of those around me.
I’ve learned that true happiness
Comes from helping others, not from possessing.

So I accede, to this new life,
A life of service, and of strife.
But I do so with a smile,
Knowing that I’ve found my true calling.
