Chasing the sunset up across the hill
Chasing the sunset up across the hill,
My heart races as the colors spill,
Golden hues and oranges so bright,
Make for a picturesque sight.
The wind carries whispers of the night,
As the sun takes its final flight,
Perched atop the hill so steep,
The world below falls into a peaceful sleep.
With each step, the view expands,
I can feel my worries and fears disband,
The sun bids goodbye to another day,
Leaving behind a trail of joy and play.
As the light fades into dark,
And the evening settles in stark,
The memory etched in my mind,
Of chasing the sunset, one of a kind.
