Her oceans rise, her lands divide,
Nature’s wrath awakened from slumber deep,
Yet still we ravage her body,
Blind to her agony, deaf to her plea.
Greed drives us to exploit her wealth,
Ignoring her fragile health,
Disregarding warnings left unheard,
Bringing forth her slow decay and death.
Now she screams in tormented cries,
Her tears fall as acid rain,
Earth bleeds as we ignore her pain,
Unknowingly signing her own fate.
