Evening Exhaustion

Your exhausted sigh in the evenings,
Is like a symphony of all your feelings.
Your shoulders droop and your eyes close,
As if you’re carrying the weight of the world on your toes.

I try to lighten the burden on your mind,
But it seems like you’re always one step behind.
You slump into the couch, completely spent,
And I wonder where all your energy went.

But as the night wears on, you start to relax,
And your worries seem to fade to the back.
So I’ll sit beside you, quietly,
And hope that your exhaustion will pass, finally.
