I Waited and Waited for the Sun to Shine
I waited and waited for the sun to shine,
To break through the clouds, and light up the sky.
I hoped and prayed for its warm embrace,
To bring a new dawn, and a brighter day.
And as I waited, I learned to see,
That the sun was always shining within me,
A light that burns eternal and bright,
Guiding me through even the darkest night.
