I looked up and saw a rainbow, a symbol of hope and light,
A beauty that filled my heart, and inspired me to take flight.
The colors stretched across the sky, a wonder to behold,
A joy that filled my soul, and a story that was told.

I felt the light pass into my heart, and I knew I could go on,
A source of inspiration, that I could always draw upon.
The rainbow reminded me, that beauty can come after the storm,
And that hope is always there, even when things aren’t warm.
