Sunrise and sunset are still wondering,
About the world, and how it keeps turning.
They shine in their glory, and paint the skies,
With shades of red, orange, and gold that mesmerize.

They witness our joys and sorrows every day,
And see the world changing in every way.
They ask themselves, what lies ahead,
As they watch from the sky above, with a sense of dread.

Will we ever learn to love and care,
And treat this world with respect and fare?
Or will we keep destroying what we hold dear,
And let the sunrise and sunset disappear?

Let’s take a step forward, and make a change,
And show the world what we can arrange.
Let’s make the sunrise and sunset proud,
By preserving this planet that we are allowed.
