Apocryphal tales, so old and rare,
Whispers of truth, hidden somewhere,
Legends passed down, from mouth to ear,
Details lost, as time drew near.
Stories of magic, and ancient lore,
Of heroes brave, and villains more,
Myths that may, or may not be true,
But still we cherish, as if they knew.
