The End of Article 370: A Constitutional Change for Jammu and Kashmir

Article 370 was a transient clause, that gave Jammu and Kashmir a distinct cause, It allowed them to have their own basic law
and some self-rule from the Indian polity

But the government had a different perspective, They wanted to integrate Kashmir with one objective, They used their legislative supremacy and legal acumen to revoke Article 370 with a presidential decree.

The reason for this move was to end the secession, That had caused violence and insurgency, They hoped to bring development and assimilation, and make Kashmir a part of the national identity

The removal of Article 370 was a historic resolution, That changed the status of Jammu and Kashmir’s territory, It sparked debate and controversy in the democracy
and the world watched with interest and scrutiny.
