Wonder fades to dailiness, as routine takes hold,
The mundane and the monotony, they’re hard to behold.
Inspiration and creativity, they’re hard to find,
As the routine of life, takes over the mind.

Imagination and exploration, they’re pushed aside,
As the boredom of the routine, becomes hard to hide.
Curiosity and novelty, they’re hard to come by,
As the routine of life, becomes a daily lie.

But don’t give up hope, for wonder can be found,
In the smallest of things, on the ground or around.
Take a step back, and look with fresh eyes,
For wonder is all around, it’s a beautiful surprise.
