The Solid Ground

The rocks under my feet, so steady and strong,
As I walk along the shore, where I belong,
The waves crash and break, but they cannot defeat,
The solid ground beneath me, so concrete.

The earth is my refuge, my anchor, my keep,
A place where I find solace, and I can weep,
The rocks under my feet, a reminder so sweet,
That life may be tumultuous, but there’s always a seat.

On this solid ground, I stand tall and proud,
My spirit uplifted, my voice ringing loud,
For the rocks under my feet, are more than just stone,
They’re a symbol of strength, of resilience shown.
