Tangled in webs of my own making,
Stagnant I sit, in my despair.
My ego out of control,
The death march led by fear.
My judgement clouded by my perceived might,
My pride changed everything in sight.
The echoes my former failures,
Surrounded by a fog so thick.
I thought I was invincible,
But I was just blind.
My life a casualty of
My unchecked vanity and my fragile and shallow mind.
Left in the wake, a victim of woe,
It was too late before I even knew,
My ego had taken control of me,
My healing only a distant dream come true.

Love’s Disaster
When all the world was bright with spring,
And love’s young dream was mine,
I thought no ill could ever bring
A cloud across the shine.
But, lo! the storm came sudden o’er,
The sky grew dark and drear;
And love, that seemed so bright before,
Was changed to bitter fear.
And now I know that love is blind,
And hope is all a lie;
And he who trusts in womankind
Must surely rue the day.
For love is like a summer dream,
That fades away too soon;
And he who hopes to win the gleam
Must pay the bitter boon.
So let me learn from bitterest woe
The lesson love has taught,
And never trust to woman’s vow,
Or hope to win her heart.

Earth Bleeds as We Ignore Her Pain
Her oceans rise, her lands divide,
Nature’s wrath awakened from slumber deep,
Yet still we ravage her body,
Blind to her agony, deaf to her plea.
Greed drives us to exploit her wealth,
Ignoring her fragile health,
Disregarding warnings left unheard,
Bringing forth her slow decay and death.
Now she screams in tormented cries,
Her tears fall as acid rain,
Earth bleeds as we ignore her pain,
Unknowingly signing her own fate.

The Meaningless Words
Words that have no meaning,
Are like a bird without wings.
They flutter and fall,
And never make a call.Their sound is empty,
And their purpose is plenty.
To fill the silence,
With meaningless violence. But in the end, we find,
That words are not blind.
For even when they’re absurd,
They can still be heard.

The Weight of Ignorance
Words, ideas I cannot stand,
When ignorance rules over the land,
Facts and truth are shoved aside,
And blind beliefs become our guide.Logic and reason fall on deaf ears,
As misinformation spreads like fears,
Critical thinking takes a back seat,
And ignorance becomes the elite. But knowledge is power, and we must fight,
Against the darkness that blocks our sight,
For only then can we take a stand,
And free ourselves from ignorance’s hand.

Blind and Unseeing
Blind and Unseeing
Blind and unseeing, we walk through life,
Eyes wide shut, hearts closed tight.
A world of wonder, a world of strife,
Lost to us in our endless night. We cling to the familiar, the known,
Afraid to venture beyond our walls.
A life half-lived, a heart half-grown,
A vision that forever stalls. But if we open our eyes, and truly see,
The world around us comes alive.
A symphony of color, a revelry,
A beauty that will always thrive. So let us shed our blinders, and dare to see,
The world in all its glory.
For in its wonder, we’ll find our key,
And a life that’s truly story-worthy.

Love is blind #Poetry
Love is blind
Version 1
Love is blind, or so they say, It sees no color, nor face, nor way, A heart that beats with pure desire, Unencumbered by judgment and fire.
Love sees beyond the outward guise, And finds a connection that defies, The boundaries that we create, For love transcends, and conquers hate.
Version 2
Love is blind, or so they say, It sees no flaws, nor any fray, A heart that beats for one alone, And in that love, it finds its home.
It doesn’t matter what others see, For love sees only beauty and glee, And though it may stumble and fall, It gets up again, and gives its all.

Blinding Love
Love isn’t blind
Love is blinding
Like the radiant sunshine filling the sky
Our love speaks volumes, when we look in each other’s eyes
No words to be said, our touch ignites, the fire inside
Love isn’t blind
Our love is blinding©VishalDutia

Blind Generation
Men of little faith
Men with eyes but lack light
If only you could see the end of your
Road, perhaps you’ld have return.
Men of vain fame, men with ears but
Cannot detect sound, if only you could
See the source of what you listen to, perhaps
You’d realized what fools you have been.
You talk of leadership
But you are no leaders
Cheaters and liars in secret, whose end
Is self destruction and eternal separation.
Truth, refuse to heed
For lies roam the atmosphere
Turn back before you expire
Inspire what is left in the dark.
Put aside corruption and greed
We are suppose to be a peculiar breed
Why dress with bombs and
Claim to do God’s will?
Hate and prejudice, mice we must end
Humanity we must preserve
Earth we must conserve
Leaves should stay green and fresh.
This is our time
Put away racism and revenge
And black will be black
And blindness will fade away.

A fight of purity by woman
Hey guys!!!
How will you feel,
If you are stopped from entering in kitchen for next five days???
What will you do,
If you are ordered to sleep on mat leaving your comfortable bed for next five days???
Will you not have a fight, if they stop you from entering in a temple saying you are impure for next five days???
How will you feel if you have two big fights every month,
The fight with bleeding pain,
& the fight with society…
I can easily defy the pain,
But tell me how to fight with this society,
How to answer this question on my purity???????
Cause if this is impurity,
Then the one who made these rules is himself impure!!!
& you all are also impure!!!
If it’s impure then God is also impure!!!
Sabrimala
Body is a temple
Bleeding is divine
Womanhood is spiritual
In ways that an intolerant devotee like you cannot understand
So when you barr me from entering Sabarimala
Remember that you can’t stop a goddess
Saraswati is wise but her rage is wild and merciless
Lakshmi will create earthquakes that will devastate
Durga will pierce your heart with her spear
Parvathi will leave her abode and run into the streets
Kali will destroy you in unimaginable ways
They reside within us
We will cut our feet on your shattered glass
We will shout till our voices become hoarse
An army of neglected women will create a tsunami
Till you’re on your back, crying
Till you give up your apparent ‘religion-saving’
Helpless, wailing
And bleeding
The Supreme Court of India ruled that not allowing women in their “menstruating years” into the Sabarimala temple is against the constitution, and all women should be allowed to enter the temple. This was met with a lot of opposition from the conservatives and the entry of women into the temple was blocked by protestors.

Blind Sight #Poetry
Words, verbs, adjectives, nouns.
Describing forces I write down.
Flowing from my toes to head.
I stir awake in my bed.Lakes of coins, dreams of doubt.
Why cant I figure this life out.
Questions run through my mind.
So many sights I see blind.Passion I have yet care I lack.
Why dose life seems so black?
I know what’s right, I know what’s wrong.
Yet I find it hard to be strong.
