Invoke the essence of kindness, for it is the need of the hour,
As Mother Earth cries, witnessing her children’s demise.
Distressed, I contemplate the unfolding scene,
A crimson tide flowing, a time of torment and strife.
Reason eludes us, the balance lost,
Peace and serenity, a distant dream.
Bullets pierce the air, a cacophonous symphony,
Drumming in my ears, haunting my every thought.
It seems as if the heavens weep blood,
Tinting the waters, infiltrating our homes.
We cannot avert our gaze from this spectacle,
For it is not fireworks, but the sound of destruction.
Peace is elusive, as we head towards the inevitable end,
Our bodies destined to become part of the earth.
