Rushing through the glass doors,
A wave of thrill so keen
A rush of euphoria,
Rushing through me like a stream.
Lost in everything,
A blur of sounds and sight
A feeling so consuming,
Overwhelming me with delight.
The pleasure is intense,
This elation so pure
This is a sensational feeling,
I can’t help but endure.
A swirl of emotion
Held inside for so long
Breaking free at last,
There is no right or wrong.
It’s such a powerful moment,
For me it will remain
A sudden rush of euphoria
Time can never contain.

Curtains of my guilt
As I sit in a room of many faces
Thoughts run through my mind
As they stare at me in judgement
The curtains of my guilt wrap around me in disgrace
Lies I have told, truths I have hid
The walls are crumbling, my secrets revealed
The accusations fly, as I seem to have no defense
The curtains of my guilt, tangle me in its grasp
Can I ever be forgiven, for the many deeds I have done?
Or be doomed to eternal damnation for my many sins?
Is there a way to turn back time, and away run
From these painful curtains of my guilt, weighing me down
As I try to face my inner demons, and look to the skies
The curtains of my guilt bind me, like a prisoner on trial
They show me no mercy, and refuse to let me go
Curses hang in the air, as I cry foul and woe
Maybe one day I will find my way to redemption
And throw the curtains of my guilt to the ground
My heart free of fear, and restored from the fires of hell
On that day my peace shall be found.accusations, defense, fear, Forgiveness, freedom, guilt, hell, Inner Demons, judgment, mercy, peace, poem, poems, Poetry, redemption, restoration, secrets

All hope is lost
When all hope is lost, and you’ve faced all your fears
The shine in your eyes still be seen through your tears
All those battles you fought, and all that you lost
Your courage will still show in you, no matter the cost
Though you feel so alone, and your heart runs so low
Friends will still come to your rescue, you should already know
They’ll carry your torch, until you can stand
And guide you out, from the dark of the sand
Your courage will win, as sure as the sky
To remind you, even during the darkest goodbye
That this too shall pass, and soon all will be
Though it may seem hard now, patience will set you free

The forbidden fruit
Temptation that entices, elusive
The forbidden fruit that is too good to refuse,
Growing in the Garden to test us;
Eve was the first one, she couldn’t ignore.
Adam followed close behind,
His curiosity was hard to hide,
The fruit looked so sweet, no one could deny.
Once taken, the feeling was more than divine
A taste like no other so daring and kind
But soon their innocence was gone –
The forbidden fruit had won.
From that point on humanity was stained
And we all felt the hurt and pain,
The taste of freedom slowly erasing.
But deep down inside, the craving for
uncharted waters remains,
One taste of the forbidden fruit will show us life’s secret gain;
An emotion too exquisite and hard to explain.

This is nice
This is nice, a gentle stroll,
A promise of joy,
The sun on my face,
And a breeze on my skin
A chance to feel free and fly,
The world so alive,
The sound of nature in my ear,
A melody thats divine
The beauty of life so grand,
Eyes opened wide,
A heart full of warmth,
And hope inside
This is nice, our journey here,
A lifetime of bliss,
The journey of joy,
And memories to reminisce.

Israel-Hamas war
Close the door, my dear,
and keep it shut, I fear,
for the winds of war are blowing,
and the world is not yet knowing. The bombs are falling fast,
and the skies are overcast,
with smoke and dust and debris,
and the cries of those who flee. The children are afraid,
and the parents are dismayed,
as they huddle in their homes,
and pray they’re not alone. But hope is not yet lost,
for there are those who count the cost,
and fight for peace and freedom,
in a world that’s lost its reason. So close the door, my dear,
and keep it shut, I fear,
for the winds of war are blowing,
but we’ll keep the light still glowing.

In the End
When humanity exhausts the last fish, Exhumes all that remains, Severs the final tree, And devours the last drop of pure water, Only then will they perceive the devastation wrought by their hands.
Our tears, a paltry offering, Unable to hydrate and nurture the fruits of our actions.
Only forgiveness and compassion for ourselves can avert this looming disaster.
Our future hangs in the balance, Blowing in the hurricanes and tornadoes, Quaking the earth and shaking our souls to the core.
Yet silence stifles the world’s cries, Ignorance, a virulent disease that consumes our tears and steals our breath, For the sake of popular opinion.
There is no freedom after suffocation.
Climate change, a grim reality, no longer a jest.

What Really?
Oh, the things that I hear and I see,
They just make me want to be free;
From the people who say “What really?”
And the things that they think they can see.
“What really happened?” they ask me,
“What was the real reason?” they say.
But I’ve learned that there’s no such thing,
As the real reason, I’m afraid.
There are just a million different ways
To look at the same old thing,
And each one is right in its own way,
So why should we argue and sing?
So let’s just agree to disagree,
And stop asking these silly old questions;
And if you must ask “What really?”
Just ask yourself, and then guess.

Freedom
Freedom is the wind in my hair,
The sun on my face,
The sound of the waves crashing on the shore.Freedom is the right to choose my own path,
To live my life the way I want to,
To be who I am, without fear of judgment.Freedom is the ability to speak my mind,
To express myself without censorship,
To be heard and understood.Freedom is the power to make my own decisions,
To take risks and fail,
To learn and grow.Freedom is the most precious gift of all,
And I will never take it for granted.I will fight for freedom,
For myself and for others,
Until it is a reality for everyone.I will not rest until all people are free,
To live their lives in peace and harmony.Freedom is not free,
It is a right that must be fought for,
But it is a fight that is worth fighting. So let us all stand together,
And fight for freedom,

Unveil Your Truth
Concealment breeds shame,
Denial leads to isolation,
Your authenticity deserves claim,
Embrace your unique creation.
Societal norms may bind,
But freedom comes with being kind,
To yourself and those around,
Acceptance found when you’re sound.
Don’t hide behind false guise,
Reveal your soul’s true skies,
Be proud of who you are,
Free from fear and despair.
Express your true colors,
Live boldly, unaffected by others,
Find solace in your own story,
And thrive in your genuinity.Follow me on threads: https://www.threads.net/@vishal.dutia.poetry

Rising from the Ashes
The dams break, the rivers overflow
Floods destroy everything in their flow
No more hiding in the shadows or cracks
No more sustaining without care, no more holding backA goddess doesn’t meddle with cowards
Burning bitterness, darkness, and doubts devours
Love expanding, tribe holding, light shining bright
The love of my own life, walking barefoot through verdant sightWe light the fire, a beacon for others to see
Willing, open, honest, and free
We call, we drum, we howl and escape
The abyss, the void, for a future filled with graceRising from the ashes, leaving the past behind
No reason to ever look back, peace in our mind

The Rise of Imperial Insurgence
Imperial insurgence, a tale of great power,
A story of conquest that echoes for hours,
Empires rise with the might of their swords,
And fall with the weight of their own accord. From Rome to Britain, empires have spread,
Their influence felt from east to west,
But with great power comes great unrest,
As rebellion and revolt put them to the test. The people rise up against their oppressors,
Their voices loud, their message clear,
No longer will they be ruled by aggressors,
As they fight for freedom without fear.Imperial insurgence, a cycle that repeats,
As empires fall and new ones take their seats.

Way Past the Point of Fearing the Darkness
Way past the point of fearing the darkness,
I embrace it with open arms, no less.
For in its depths, I find my solace,
A place where I can truly harness. The shadows that once made me quiver,
Now guide me to a place that’s richer.
Where secrets lie and dreams come alive,
And fears are nothing but a mere jive.In this realm, I am the master,
Of all that’s dark and full of wonder.
For I have conquered what once enslaved me,
And now, in darkness, I am truly free.

Life breezes through me
Life breezes through me, a flow of freedom and change,
A movement of growth, that’s never out of range.
The winds of time may blow, but I’m always on my feet,
Ready to face the challenges, and the people I’ll meet.
The breeze may be gentle, or it may be a storm,
But I know that I’m strong, and I can weather any form.
I’ll let life take me where it will, and I’ll enjoy the ride,
Knowing that every moment is a chance to grow and thrive.
Life breezes through me, and I’m grateful for the flow,
For the freedom to be me, and the chance to let my spirit grow.

Prisoner of Desire
I am a prisoner of desire, my passion runs deep,
My longing for you, is something I can’t keep.
The temptation is strong, to give in and let go,
But I know I must be patient, and let the feelings grow.
Restraint is not easy, when the heart wants what it wants,
But I know that true love, is more than just a taunt.
I’ll wait for the right time, when everything is in sync,
And our love will be free, with no need for a link.
I am a prisoner of desire, but I won’t let it control me,
I’ll use it as a guide, to find the love that’s meant to be.
The key to my freedom, is patience and understanding,
And when the time is right, our love will be outstanding.

Fluttering Wings
Like caged butterflies, we long to be free,
To spread our wings, and soar with glee.
But the world around us can hold us down,
Leaving us trapped, in a life without sound.
The heart yearns for flight, for a chance to be,
Everything we were meant to be.
To dance with the wind, and touch the sky,
To feel alive, with every breath and sigh.
But fear can hold us back, like chains so tight,
Keeping us in darkness, away from the light.
So let us break free, from our cocooned state,
And embrace the world, with wings that elate.

The Power of Forgiveness
Forgiveness is such a simple term,
Yet its power can make hearts affirm.
It takes strength to let go of the pain,
But in doing so, we have so much to gain.
When someone wrongs us, it’s hard to forget,
But holding onto anger will only bring regret.
Forgiving doesn’t mean we condone the deed,
It means we choose to move forward and succeed.
The weight of resentment can be so heavy,
But forgiveness can make our burdens less hefty.
We free ourselves from the chains of hate,
And open our hearts to a brighter fate.
Letting go of grudges may not be easy,
But it’s worth it to live life more breezy.
Forgiveness is a gift that we give ourselves,
A way to heal our wounds and improve our health.anger, Brighter Fate, Chains, Forgiveness, freedom, gift, grudges, hate, Heal Wounds, Move Forward, Open Hearts, pain, poem, poems, Poetry, power, regret, Resentment, strength

The Weight of the World
The weight of the world, upon my back,
Burdened by worries, a constant attack,
But then I hear a voice, a gentle knack,
“Bury your burdens,” it whispers, urging me to unshackle the pack.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath,
Releasing my worries, one by one, until there’s nothing left,
A sense of freedom, a feeling of being unburdened and blessed,
A cathartic release, a moment of pure happiness.
The weight of the world, no longer a burden to bear,
I stand tall and strong, without a single care,
A sense of liberation, a feeling so rare,
I bury my burdens, and finally, I dare.
To live life without the weight of the world,
To unburden my soul, and let my spirit unfurl,
To find happiness and joy, and let my worries curl,
Bury your burdens, and experience the beauty of the world.

Seize the Day
Every moment is an opportunity,
To live our lives with unity,
To chase our dreams and make them real,
To find the strength to break the seal.
We cannot change the past, it’s true,
But the future is up to me and you,
So let us not waste a single day,
For time is precious, it slips away.
Let’s take each step with purpose and drive,
And let our passion keep our hopes alive,
For every moment is a chance to be,
The best that we can be, and set ourselves free.

Breaking Free
Liberal & conservative both are prisons with different features,
Bound by dogma, they restrict our natures,
We become trapped in a binary cage,
Denying our complexity, our true sage.
We’re told to choose a side and stick,
And if we don’t, we’re labeled as sick,
But the truth is much more nuanced,
And our perspectives can be enhanced.
Let us break free from these chains,
And embrace the diversity that remains,
For only then can we truly see,
The beauty of our humanity.beauty, binary, Chains, Complexity, conservative, diversity, dogma, freedom, humanity, liberal, perspectives, poem, poems, Poetry, prisons

Shedding the Chains
Cutting off those, who judge you,
May seem harsh, but it’s what you must do.
To free yourself from their toxic grip,
To find your voice, and let it rip.Their words may sting, their opinions hurt,
But their judgment is not your worth.
You are unique, and that’s okay,
Your path is yours, in your own way.Shedding the chains, of their expectations,
Opens up doors, to new destinations.
Where you’re free to be, who you truly are,
Where you can shine, like a bright star.So let go of the fear, and the doubt,
And cut off those, who bring you down.
Embrace your truth, and let it show,
In a world where authenticity can glow.

Set You Free
Let me let you go, my love,
Like a dove released to the skies above.
Though it pains me so, to set you free,
I know it’s the best for you and me.Our love was strong, it burned so bright,
But now it’s time to take flight.
To follow our dreams, and find our way,
Separate paths, we must take today.I’ll cherish the memories, we’ve made together,
In my heart, they’ll stay forever.
But it’s time to move on, to let you be,
To find your own path, and set you free.So fly away, dear one, and don’t look back,
Spread your wings, and follow your track.
For though we part, our love will live on,
In the memories we’ve shared, and the light of dawn.

When My Brain Implodes, My Irish Heart Explodes
When my brain implodes, my Irish heart explodes,
Emotions and thoughts, like fireworks, they unload.
Memories of my culture, my identity, my heritage,
Passion and energy, they surge and they ravage.Overwhelmed by the intensity, I seek release,
Freedom from the chaos, a moment of peace.
So I turn to poetry, to rhyme and to verse,
To express the explosion, to make it less terse. My Irish heart beats with a rhythm so strong,
It’s the beat of my ancestors, the beat of their song.
It’s the fire in my soul, the spark in my eye,
It’s the reason I live, the reason I try.So when my brain implodes, and my Irish heart explodes,
I embrace the energy, I let it unfold.
For it’s a part of who I am, it’s a part of my fate,
And I wouldn’t have it any other way, it’s simply great.

My Shackles Have Been Released
My Shackles Have Been Released
My shackles have been released,
The chains that held me back are gone.
A new world, a new life, a new peace,
A journey that’s just begun. The weight that held me down,
Is now lifted from my soul.
A freedom that I’ve finally found,
A chance to finally be whole. For in the release of my shackles,
I’ve found the strength to soar.
To embrace life’s endless tackles,
And let my true self roar.So let us celebrate this moment,
And the freedom that’s now in sight.
For in the release of our torment,
We can find a life that’s truly bright.

Liberty
Liberty, oh liberty, it calls to me,
A voice of freedom, that sets me free.
With every breath, a new hope,
And every step, a new scope.Liberty, oh liberty, it sings so bold,
A melody of justice, that’s never old.
With every beat, a new rhythm,
And every note, a new anthem.Liberty, oh liberty, it shines so bright,
A beacon of light, in the darkest night.
With every flame, a new fire,
And every spark, a new desire. For in the liberty we find, a truth,
A reminder of the past, and the moments of youth.
It’s the freedom we hold, and the justice we seek,
That make us whole, and help us to speak. So let us embrace, the liberty we share,
And fight for the freedom, that’s always there.
For in the end, it’s the love we give,
That makes us free, and helps us to live.

The Price of Liberty
The Price of Liberty
The price of liberty is never cheap,
It’s paid with blood, with sweat, with tears.
A struggle that runs so deep,
A journey that lasts for years. For every freedom that we enjoy,
There’s a sacrifice that’s been made.
A life that’s been lost, a heart destroyed,
A sacrifice that can never fade. The price of liberty is a heavy burden,
A weight that’s carried by the brave.
A journey that’s often uncertain,
But a journey that they choose to pave.So let us never forget the price,
That’s been paid for the freedom we hold.
For in its beauty, there’s sacrifice,
A story that’s been long told.Let us honor the ones who came before,
And the ones who continue to fight.
For the price of liberty is worth so much more,
Than the darkness that it can ignite.© VishalDutia

Unleashing Our Hearts: A Poem on the Freedom of Being a Lesbian
We dance under the moonlit sky,
Hand in hand, heart to heart,
Together we laugh and we cry,
Never apart, never torn apart. Our love is pure, our love is real,
No judgment, no fear, no hate,
We embrace how we feel,
Our souls free, our love innate. We are strong, we are brave,
Breaking barriers, shattering norms,
We refuse to hide or cave,
Our love unapologetic, our hearts transformed. We are lesbians, hear us roar,
Unleashing our hearts, our passion,
Our love an open door,
A beautiful, colorful expression.

Let Her Go
Let Her Go
Let her go, let her fly,
Release the chains that make her cry.
Let her find her way to the sky,
And spread her wings, up high.Don’t hold her back, don’t clip her wings,
Let her dance and let her sing.
Let her explore new beginnings,
And see what the future brings.Trust in her, and let her soar,
And she’ll come back, even more.
Stronger, wiser than before,
A heart that’s open, to love and more.

The Gap Between Who I Am and Who I Want to Be
The Gap Between Who I Am and Who I Want to Be
There’s a gap between who I am and who I want to be,
A chasm that’s hard to bridge, a struggle that’s hard to see.
I want to be brave, I want to be strong,
But sometimes the road seems so very long.I want to be kind, I want to be true,
But sometimes my actions seem so askew.
I want to be wise, I want to be smart,
But sometimes I feel like I’m falling apart. The gap between who I am and who I want to be,
Is a journey that’s long, and not always easy.
It takes courage and faith, and a belief in oneself,
To bridge the divide, and find the path to oneself. But in that gap, there is also hope,
A chance to grow, a chance to cope.
To learn from mistakes, and rise above,
To find the strength, to push and shove. For in the end, it’s not who we are,
But who we become, that sets us apart.
The gap between who I am and who I want to be,
Is a reminder that I’m still growing, still free.

A Prison of Flesh and Bone
A Prison of Flesh and Bone
A prison of flesh and bone,
Is what we call our earthly home.
A place where we are bound to stay,
Until our time has come to fade away. Our bodies are cages, that hold us in,
Trapping us in a world of sin.
We hunger, we thirst, we yearn for more,
But our bodies keep us tethered to the floor. We dream of freedom, of soaring high,
Of breaking free from the constraints of the sky.
But our bodies weigh us down, with every breath,
A constant reminder of our mortal death.Yet, in this prison of flesh and bone,
There is a beauty that we have grown.
A love that we share, a joy that we find,
In the moments of life that we leave behind. For though our bodies may be a prison,
Our souls are free, and full of vision.
We can dream, we can soar, we can be,
Anything we want, if we only believe. So let us not be bound by the flesh and bone,
For our souls are free, and they have flown.
To the heights of the universe, and beyond,
A place where we can truly belong.

The Sickness Within
The Sickness Within
There is a sickness within me
That eats away at my soul
It feeds on my fears and doubts
And makes me feel less than wholeIt whispers lies in my ears
That I am not good enough
It tells me I am worthless
And that no one will ever loveIt makes me isolate myself
From those who care for me
It makes me push them away
And hide my miseryIt makes me hate myself
And everything I do
It makes me want to end it all
And escape this endless gloomBut there is a part of me
That still wants to fight
That still believes in hope
And that there is a lightA light that can heal me
And chase away the dark
A light that can fill me
With love and joy and sparkA light that comes from within
And from those who stand by me
A light that gives me strength
And helps me to be freeI will not let the sickness win
I will not give up the fight
I will not let it take my life
I will not go gentle into that nightI will face the sickness within
And overcome its power
I will reclaim my soul and self
And live for every hour

Sun shines down on me
Sun shines down on me
I feel the warmth of the sun on my skin
Sun shines down on me, it fills me with joy
It makes me smile, it makes me glow
It gives me energy, it gives me lifeBut sometimes I wonder, is this all there is?
Is there more to life than sun and sky?
Do I have a purpose, a reason to exist?
Or am I just a speck of dust?I dream of a place where I can be free
Where I can explore and learn and grow
Where I can meet someone who loves me
Who sees beyond my outward showBut then I wake up, and reality hits me
Sun shines down on me, it fills me with joy
It makes me smile, it makes me glow
It gives me energy, it gives me life

The Poet’s Playground
#WeArePoets
With language as our playground,
we poets frolic and spin around,
dancing with words, a joy profound,
finding our muses where they’re found. We create worlds, we build them up,
with pens and paper, we let our hearts erupt,
our poetry a haven, a place to be free,
to live, to love, to just simply be.

I’d Hide My Words Away
I’d Hide My Words Away
I’d hide my words away, if I could
And keep them safe, in a quiet wood
For they are the thoughts, that fill my head
And the secrets, that I’ve left unsaidSometimes, I long to keep them in
And let them simmer, under my skin
For fear of what the world might say
And the judgement, that might come my wayBut then I think, of all the times
That my words have helped, to ease the minds
Of those who struggled, with the same
And how my words, could help ease the painSo I’ll take my words, and set them free
And let them be, what they are meant to be
For they are a part of me, you see
And I’d never want, to hide that from thee.authenticity, away, expression, fear, freedom, hide, i’d, Judgement, poem, poems, Poetry, secrets, self-acceptance, Thoughts, vulnerability, words

Boys Deserve to Have Fun Too
Boys Deserve to Have Fun Too
Boys just want to have fun, just like girls do,
They like to laugh, to run and play, that’s true,
But often they’re told to act tough and strong,
And not to express their emotions for too long.Let’s break this stereotype and give them a chance,
To enjoy the things they like, to dance and prance,
Boys deserve to have fun too, let’s make it clear,
They’re just as human as anyone else here.

Beaches Tell You, You’re There
Beaches Tell You, You’re There
Beaches tell you, you’re there,
With sand beneath your feet.
The ocean’s breeze, tousling your hair,
A place where time can’t compete. The waves crashing on the shore,
The salt-scented air you breathe.
A place to escape, to explore,
Where your soul can truly be freed. The seagulls’ call, a lullaby,
The rhythm of the sea.
A place to rest, to just lie,
Where you can truly be.So let the beaches tell you, you’re there,
A place of peace and calm.
Where you can let go of all your cares,
And just be in the balm.

The Contortionist in a Cage
The Contortionist in a Cage
Contort myself in a cage of thoughts,
Twisted limbs and tangled knots.
Trapped in a cycle of self-doubt,
Held captive by fears and clouds of drought.Bend and stretch, strain and ache,
A desperate effort for freedom’s sake.
But the harder I struggle, the tighter I’m bound,
A prisoner of my own creation, forever unbound.

No Political Borders
No Political Borders
The world is one big beautiful place,
Full of different cultures and faces,
But we’ve divided it up with lines,
Political borders that separate us in our minds. We forget that we are all human,
That we share this planet we’re living on,
We should embrace our diversity,
And celebrate our unity. Why build walls and barriers,
When we could build bridges instead,
No need to be divided,
When we can come together instead.Imagine a world with no borders,
Where we’re free to roam and explore,
Where people can move and travel,
Without fear or restriction anymore.Let’s break down these walls we’ve created,
And unite as one global nation,
For a world without borders,
Is a world full of love and compassion.

The Magic Room
The Magic Room
The magic room, a place of wonder,
Where dreams and reality collide.
A space to let our hearts ponder,
And let our imaginations take a ride.In the magic room, anything is possible,
And the impossible becomes real.
A place where the mundane is transformable,
And the ordinary can truly appeal. For in the magic room, we can create,
A world that’s uniquely ours.
A place where we can truly relate,
And let our true selves flower. So let us step into the magic room,
And let our creativity soar.
For in the magic room, there’s room,
For all that we can explore.
