My bed, a place of solace and my home,
Where I lay to find relaxation from the day.
My thoughts drift off, I slowly float away,
Vivid dreams of fantasies that come my way.
Time passes quietly and I stay in peace,
As I rest in my bed and be in ease.
When worries and stress slowly creep,
My bed helps me find my own retreat.
My bed is a place I can be just me,
My mind can wander, it’s an escape for free.
My bed is a shelter in which I control,
Where I can relax and just be whole.
My bed, a place of comfort and rest,
It’s my safe place, forever and not less.

Sheltered
A humble home, a haven from the storm,
A cozy sanctuary, a place to be warm.
A roof over your head,
Is more important than the stars in the sky spread.
For the stars are but distant lights,
That twinkle and gleam in the darkest nights.
But a home is a place where your heart can rest,
Where you are safe and loved, at your very best.
So cherish your shelter, your humble abode,
For it is a blessing, a gift bestowed.
And though the stars may be bright and fair,
A home is a treasure beyond compare.

My love for you is true
Romance, a dance of two hearts,
A love story that never departs.
Eyes meet, and souls ignite,
A passion that burns so bright.Hand in hand, we walk through life,
Through joy and sorrow, through strife.
Your love is my guiding light,
Through the darkest of nights. In your arms, I find my home,
Where my heart can truly roam.
You are my everything, my love,
My gift from above. My love for you is true.

Vacant Land
The land lies empty, waiting
For what it will become,
A home, a business, a park,
Or perhaps just nothing at all.
The grass grows wild and free,
Untamed by human hands,
The trees stand tall and proud,
Untouched by progress.
The wind blows through the leaves,
Singing a song of hope,
The sun shines down on the earth,
Blessing it with its warmth.
The vacant land waits patiently,
Knowing that its time will come,
When it will be filled with life,
And make a difference in the world.business, change, development, Difference, empty land, future, growth, home, hope, impact, life, nature, park, poem, poems, Poetry, Potential, transformation, vacant land, waiting

Chronicles of a Foreign Home
In a land far away, I made my new home,
A place where the culture was all unknown,
The language was strange, the food was unique,
But I found myself happy, and my heart did speak.I learned new customs and made some good friends,
Explored the city and all its bends,
I wrote down my thoughts, my joys, and my fears,
Chronicles of a foreign home, for all future years.Inspired by: altpoetryprompts

Memories of Home
It’s the porch light, the front door, the wallpaper,
That brings back memories, of love and of care.
The creaky floors, the cozy hearth,
A place to call home, from the ends of the earth.
It’s the smell of baking, the sound of laughter,
The memories of home, that linger long after.
The pictures on the walls, the familiar decor,
That welcomes us back, to a place we adore.
It’s the overwhelmingly cold marble,
That spans the very floors of the soul,
A place of comfort, where we feel whole.

The Candle Burns So Softly
The candle burns so softly,
As if whispering to the world.
Its flicker dances gently,
In the darkness it unfurls.Beneath its warm glow,
A story is being told.
Of love, hope, and wonder,
Of memories to behold. Its light shines brightly,
Guiding lost souls home.
The candle burns so softly,
Never leaving those alone.

My Soul Will Rest in Your Embrace
My Soul Will Rest in Your Embrace
My soul will rest in your embrace,
A haven of peace, a sacred space,
In your love, I find my rest,
A place where my worries are suppressed. With every breath, with every beat,
My heart sings a melody so sweet,
A song of love, a song of trust,
A symphony that echoes through the dust.My soul will rest in your embrace,
A place where I find my grace,
In your arms, I find my home,
A place where I’m never alone.

Silhouette of Solace
Silhouette of Solace
In the darkest of nights, I found my way,
To a place of solace, where I could stay,
It was a silhouette, against the starry sky,
A beacon of hope, that caught my eye.I walked towards it, with a heavy heart,
Hoping to find, a brand new start,
As I got closer, I felt a calm,
A sense of peace, like a healing balm. The silhouette grew, and took shape,
A tree, majestic, with leaves that drape,
It stood tall, against the midnight sky,
A symbol of strength, that caught my eye.I walked closer, and leaned against the tree,
Feeling its warmth, enveloping me,
In its branches, I found a home,
A place of solace, where I could roam. The tree whispered, in the gentlest of ways,
“Be at peace, for all will be okay”,
And in that moment, I found my light,
A brand new hope, that shone so bright. So now, I stand tall, just like that tree,
A silhouette of solace, for all to see,
A beacon of hope, in the darkest of nights,
Guiding others, towards the light.

Nothing Makes Me Want to Stay
Nothing makes me want to stay
Nothing makes me want to stay,
In this place that feels so wrong,
I long for something more,
A life where I belong. The days are long and dreary,
And the nights are filled with pain,
I search for a glimmer of hope,
But it’s all in vain. The people here are cold and distant,
And the streets are dark and gray,
Nothing makes me want to stay,
And I can’t find a reason to delay. So I’ll pack my bags and hit the road,
And chase my dreams to the horizon,
For I know that somewhere out there,
My true home is just waiting to be risen.

Hold Me, My Love
Hold Me, My Love
Hold me, my love, in your warm embrace,
Heartbeats harmonizing, a peaceful place.
Healing hugs, a tender touch,
Happiness hovers, a love so much.Hopeful hearts, a love so true,
Hypnotic hold, a dream come due.
Hold me, my love, forevermore,
Home is where your arms enfold.

Earth, The Only Home We All Have
Earth, The Only Home We All Have
Earth, the only home we all have,
A planet of wonder, a world so vast,
A place of beauty and diversity,
A home that’s meant for you and me.But we’ve taken it for granted for too long,
Polluted its air, its rivers, and sea,
We’ve caused so much harm and destruction,
And left it struggling to breathe. We need to take a step back,
And realize what we have,
A world full of wonder and magic,
A planet that’s meant to last.We need to work together,
To protect our planet’s health,
To preserve its beauty and diversity,
And make sure it thrives with wealth. For Earth is the only home we all have,
A place that we must cherish and protect,
For our future and the future of generations to come,
Depend on the actions that we reflect. So let’s come together and work towards a goal,
To make sure our planet remains whole,
For Earth is the only home we all have,
And it’s up to us to make sure it lasts.

Emerald Green Sachets
Emerald Green Sachets
Emerald green sachets, so small and so neat,
Filled with fragrant herbs, so subtle, so sweet.
Tucked in drawers and closets, they work their charm,
Keeping clothes fresh, protecting from harm.Their scent lingers on, long after they’re gone,
A touch of nature, in every home.
Emerald green sachets, a simple delight,
Bringing freshness and joy, day and night.

The Rusty Lights that Lead Us Home
The rusty lights that lead us home,
Guiding us through the night unknown,
Their flickering glow, a soothing sight,
A beacon in the darkness, shining bright. They stand tall, with rust and age,
Yet their light remains, never to fade,
A symbol of hope, a source of comfort,
In a world where chaos and darkness hurt. They line the streets, like guardian angels,
Protecting us from all that tangles,
Their warmth envelops us, like a hug,
As we walk beneath them, slow and snug.Oh, rusty lights, how you inspire,
In your company, we never tire,
You remind us of our journeys long,
And how we always find our way back home.

Soft pillows beckon, inviting repose
Surrounded by familiar sights and sounds
Comfort and peace in my own sacred groundsThe scent of baking, a familiar delight
Home cooked meals, savored with delight
Here I find solace, my soul’s true worth
Finding comfort in home and hearth

A Hymn to Home and Health
A Hymn to Home and Health
Home, sweet haven of warmth and rest
A sanctuary where hearts are blessed
Surrounded by love and family ties
Here, in the heart, all worries diesHealth, the greatest wealth of all
Without it, even mansions fall
May this hymn of gratitude start
For the blessings of home and health, dear heart

A Lost Dog That Is Found
A Lost Dog That Is Found
A wandering soul, with no place to go,
Lost and alone, searching to and fro,
Stray in the streets, rain or shine,
Hopelessly wandering, for a sign. But oh! A glimmer of hope,
A friendly face, with a helping rope,
A home at last, with love profound,
A lost dog that is found.

Finding Comfort in Home and Hearth
Finding Comfort in Home and Hearth
In the warmth of home and hearth, I find peace,
The crackling of logs, the flicker of flames, a release,
From the worries of the world, I retreat,
To a place of comfort, where my heart beats. The walls of my home, they hold me tight,
A sanctuary of love, that feels just right,
With family and friends, I’m never alone,
Finding comfort in home and hearth, my heart has flown.

The Longing for Home
The Longing for Home
Searching for a place of peace and comfort,
A place that we can call our own.
A longing for home, a heart’s desire,
That no other can satisfy or inspire. We long to feel the warmth of home,
To kiss away life’s struggles and roam.
Through the highs and lows of our lives,
We carry on, dreaming of home’s sweet skies.

You give me meaning #Poetry
You know often times we forget to appreciate the value of things because they are consistently There.
I appreciate my home for having a working A/C everyday and working electricity.
I appreciate my bed for providing a safe warm comfortable place for me to sleep everyday .
I appreciate mr. Door who happens to open and close for those invited and uninvited to my home.
Ohhhhh and also …..
I appreciate you my love.
For you give me life and hope of enduring life.
You allow me to wake up in addition to an extra thought of why I should continuing going .
You give me aspiration.
You give me drive, direction and function.
You are the yes to my no , the open to my close , day to my night . For one cannot exist solely without the other . For there’s no meaning if you don’t exist to me .© VishalDutia

Nothing to see here
Believing becomes a fairy tale
Every opinion is up for sale
Hiding memories of a broken home
I only see myself alone
Never knowing if I’ll be alright
Demons calling for me every night
Many sins are buried deep within
Years of sorrow settle in
Manipulating my reality
Anything is better than what I see
Severed many ties to good for me
Killed everything I tried to be
I no longer feel a thing
Sadness is the song I sing
Do not try to reach me anymore
Empty eyes forever more
Apathy becomes my new best friend
Trust is just a means to an end
Heed the words, don’t let me in.©VishalDutia

Your Home, is a Temple
Your Home, is a Temple,
Where the Roof, is your Own.
A place, where U grew up
and a place, where Love Shone.
Never will U find,
Tears lying on the Floor.
Beautiful Memories of the past,
are hidden behind each Door.
Wisdom lies on the Bookshelf
and Laughter lights each Room.
There’s a Vase on the Table,
Where Flowers always Bloom.
Don’t take anyone’s advice,
as how to paint each Wall.
Your Home is a private Shelter,
U ought to make that Call.© VishalDutia

Another way home
To let your heart ,
Beat deep within.
Help your soul ,
To find a voice.
Some times you cry ,
When you can’t understand.
That there’s always ,
Another choice
Things aren’t that bad ,
You just can’t see.
The beauty all around.
But when you find ,
That miracle.
You’ll know just what you’ve
Found.
For your life was never perfect.
It’s never been that way.
But you can see Love,
In everything.
When you see ,
In a special way.
You have to feel,
In your heart.
Take each moment apart.
Be grateful for each breath,
That you take .
For nothing just happens.
Your Loved .
From the start.
So your given the life.
That you make.©VISHALDUTIA

A Calming Chaos
A cup of coffee after another —
I tried hiding behind a memory,
Only to be caught by the thought
Of losing you.But above, an aerial war zone,
Whose fragments fall down
Like soldiers returning home,
Becomes louder than fear.Loud flashes of light never stopped
Nor did they bother me at all.
In fact, I would keep one in a jar,
But I already have thousands within. You’d say I must be mad
For wanting the city to drown,
But a song can’t save me now,
So I’ll just listen to the rain.©VishalDutia

Old Lady
I noticed a lady sitting across from me today.
See, she had a worn face from living hard, and tough hands from working harder.
And her piercing eyes, they screamed five words:
Don’t let me be forgotten.
I Don’t Understand How Can A Son/Daughter Forget There Parents At Any Moment And Leave Them On Streets.
Shameless!!
