Temptation that entices, elusive
The forbidden fruit that is too good to refuse,
Growing in the Garden to test us;
Eve was the first one, she couldn’t ignore.
Adam followed close behind,
His curiosity was hard to hide,
The fruit looked so sweet, no one could deny.
Once taken, the feeling was more than divine
A taste like no other so daring and kind
But soon their innocence was gone –
The forbidden fruit had won.
From that point on humanity was stained
And we all felt the hurt and pain,
The taste of freedom slowly erasing.
But deep down inside, the craving for
uncharted waters remains,
One taste of the forbidden fruit will show us life’s secret gain;
An emotion too exquisite and hard to explain.

Between Innocent and Guilt
The space between the two is thin,
A line so fine, it’s hard to see.
One step in either direction,
And you’re no longer what you used to be.
The innocent are quick to judge,
The guilty quick to hide.
But who is truly right or wrong?
Who can say with certainty?
The truth is, we all fall somewhere
In between the two extremes.
We all have our moments of weakness,
Our moments of sin.
So let’s not be so quick to judge,
Let’s not be so quick to hate.
Let’s try to understand,
And let’s try to forgive.
Because in the end, we’re all just human,
Trying to make our way through this life.
And we all deserve a second chance,
No matter what we’ve done.

Fatal Attraction
When seduction turns into brutal crime,
Love becomes a nightmare, time stands still.
Passion consumed by rage,
A fatal attraction, a killer’s thrill.
The object of desire, now turned to prey,
Their innocence lost, their life on display.
The hunter’s gaze, cold and unyielding,
A darkness within, forever concealing.
The fatal attraction, a twisted bond,
A love that knows no bounds, beyond.
The victim’s plea, unanswered and unheard,
Their fate sealed, their final word.
In this twisted tale of love and hate,
Passion consumes, leaving nothing but waste.
A fatal attraction, a love so deep,
It drives one mad, asleep or awake.
Beware the one whose love burns bright,
For in their eyes, there may lurk a night.
A fatal attraction, a love so blind,
It leaves a trail of sorrow and pain behind.
If you find yourself caught in this snare,
Flee before it’s too late, take care.
For the fatal attraction, once it takes hold,
Will consume your soul, leaving you cold.

Kerala Sorrow
Blood spilt on the sacred land,
By savage men with vicious hand,
Forced conversions and brutal rape,
Women’s agony, the valley’s gape.Difficult choices they had to make,
To lose their faith or their own life’s sake,
Living in fear, in their own land,
Injustice dealt with a cruel hand.Lives destroyed, innocence lost,
Painful memories that never exhaust,
Kerala weeps, for its daughters’ plight,
In dismal darkness, fought their might.

Innocent Blue
Innocent Blue
Innocent blue, a sky so true,
A color that brings peace anew.
It whispers of hope and of trust,
A hue that we can all adjust.Innocent blue, a baby’s eyes,
So full of wonder, no disguise.
It speaks of innocence and grace,
A world that we can all embrace.Innocent blue, a gentle stream,
A place to rest, a place to dream.
It tells of calm and of release,
A chance to find our inner peace.

Memories of Childhood
Memories of Childhood
The past lingers on in my reverie,
A treasure trove of moments held so dear,
The memories that light up inside me,
The joys, the sorrows, both far and near.A time of innocence, of carefree play,
Of laughter, love, and learning every day,
Of friendships forged, that never fade away,
And dreams that still inspire in every way.Though years have passed, these memories remain,
A bridge to childhood that I’ll never lose,
A window to the past, a timeless chain,
That binds my heart to days of purest hues. These memories live on, in heart and mind,
And keep the child inside forever kind.

Innocent Hearts, Pure Love
Innocent Hearts, Pure Love
Innocent hearts, pure love, like a flower in bloom,
A love that shines brighter than the light of the moon,
It’s a love that’s gentle, tender, and kind,
And it’s easy to see, it’s not hard to find.In a world that’s so harsh, it’s a beautiful thing,
Innocent hearts, pure love, let our hearts sing.

Memories of childhood
Memories of childhood
Memories of childhood, oh so sweet,
A time of innocence, a time to meet,
Friends who played and laughed all day,
A time of wonder, a time to play. The smell of freshly baked bread,
The taste of warm cookies, oh so red,
The sound of birds chirping in the trees,
A time of joy, a time of ease.Running through fields of green,
Chasing butterflies, a sight so serene,
The wind in my hair, the sun on my face,
A time of freedom, a time of grace. The warmth of a hug from mom and dad,
The love felt, a feeling so grand,
The memories etched in my heart and mind,
A time of love, a time so kind. The innocence of childhood, oh so pure,
A time of life, a time to endure,
The memories cherished, forever to keep,
A time of wonder, a time to reap.Memories of childhood, a treasure to hold,
A time of love, a time so bold,
The memories will always be a part of me,
A time of life, a time so free.

The Moonlight watching you
The Moonlight watching you
Bathed in moonlight, you slumber so deep
As the night watches over, and the stars vigil keep
The moonlight caresses you, with a gentle touch
A serenade of peace, that feels almost too muchBut you sleep on, with an innocent grace
As the moonlight watches, over your peaceful face.© VishalDutia

Hey You #Poetry
Hey you,
I think I knew you
When you were a child
Running free and wildIt it true,
What I say about you
That part I sort of miss
All the years of innocenceHey you,
At break neck speed you moved
From point A to point B
Leaving behind flakes of memoryIs it true,
That half the things if you knew
Only a few you’d want to change
Most you’d want to keep the sameHey you,
I know what you’re going through
Because I have been there too
After all I am you.
