Here’s a recipe for chocolate truffles:
Ingredients:
8 oz. of semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup of unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Cocoa powder or powdered sugar, for rolling the truffles
Instructions:
In a medium-sized saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter over medium heat until the butter has melted and the mixture comes to a simmer.
Remove from the heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and let it cool to room temperature, then cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Using a spoon or a melon baller, scoop out small balls of the chocolate mixture and roll them into balls.
Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or powdered sugar to coat.
Store the truffles in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Enjoy your heavenly chocolate truffles!
