In my cozy corner, I find solace,
The window open, revealing a tranquil scene.
The sound of slumber echoes softly,
My light illuminating the dusk with gentle sheen.
Yet, my mind wanders, yearning for you,
My heart aches, longing for your embrace.
Do you too have a haven, a sanctuary,
A place where you find solace and grace?
Is it a person, a kindred spirit,
A source of warmth and kindred light?
Or is it a place, a cherished refuge,
Where you find solace, day and night?
Wherever your corner may be,
I hope it brings you solace and peace.
And may we one day find each other’s corners,
Where our love will forever increase.

I Despised the Person in the Reflection
I Despised the Person in the Reflection
I despised the person in the reflection,
A stranger staring back, devoid of affection.
I saw flaws and imperfections, and all that was wrong,
And felt like I didn’t belong. But then I realized, with a sudden clarity,
That the person in the mirror, was me.
And I learned to love, the person I see,
And embrace my flaws, so uniquely me.

The Right Person Will Make You Feel Enough
The Right Person Will Make You Feel Enough
The right person will make you feel enough,
Effortlessly and unequivocally, without any bluff.
Empathy and encouragement, they’ll bring to your life,
Easing your worries and easing your strife.Elevating and empowering, they’ll make you soar,
Entwining their life with yours, forevermore.
Endlessly and earnestly, they’ll love you as you are,
Envisioning a future, brighter than any star.Encompassing and embracing, they’ll embrace your soul,
Enkindling your passions, making you feel whole.
Euphoric and enchanting, they’ll bring out your best,
Easing your mind, and giving you rest.Eternal and evergreen, their love will grow,
Endlessly and effortlessly, like the ebb and flow.
Enriching and enlightening, they’ll light up your life,
Easing your burdens and easing your strife.© VishalDutia

My first sentence would be “As I look back on my life, I realize that every experience I’ve had has shaped me into the person I am today.”
You’re writing your autobiography. What’s your opening sentence?
As I look back on my life, I realize that every experience I’ve had has shaped me into the person I am today.
As I look back on my life, I realize that every experience I’ve had has shaped me into the person I am today. From growing up in a small town to traveling the world, from the joys of family to the heartaches of loss, every moment has played a role in shaping my character, my beliefs, and my purpose. Through it all, I’ve learned to value resilience, kindness, and perseverance, and to never stop exploring and learning. My journey continues, and I’m grateful for all that has led me to where I am today.

Hypothesis Of Mind
The hypothesis of every mind speaks of life’s experiences distinctively, evident enough by their own experiences, by what they were made to believe or the definitions they acquired. Among this distinct reality, it may seem tempting enough to outshine some or to precede over others in terms of knowledge, but if I were to assert, every possibility is not seen according to the person speaking of it. No wonder, superiority seems like a default goal of people. If one speaks of their experiences and the beliefs they built, then sure, they can be counteracted but it shan’t be done unless their part is understood.

Waking Up
Time is peeling back our layers
Age will yield softer versions of ourselves
Dive deep into the self
There is nothing thereBeg the wanderers for freedom
As if we could not hold our own
Bare your teeth to the silver dollar moon
No one is coming nowNot the wolves I see in my dreams
Not the shadow man clothed in leather
Not the rally I prayed
Not the soldiers I spilt blood forAge will yield a softer version
Of my own person
Fight, tooth and nail for a bitter end
These are still watersDive deep into the self
There is nothing there
No God, no colors, no sound
It is the cold flame of humanity
Only consciousness persists©VishalDutia

Lifes copies
I thought seeing a copy
was just one instance
but it is happening again
makes me wonder
if this is lives way
to show me
the people I used to know
are doing well in another life
that their happy
with what has happened
as I never see them againOh, to be able to say
you know a person perfectly
and you’ve just met
oh what a gift
oh what a curse
to stay

Sex #Poetry
People regard sex differently:
Some see sex as a commodity; to be exchanged for favors and things.
Some see sex as a medium for emotive and spiritual expression.
Some see sex as merely a means to a purely biological end.
Some see sex as a good time and not much else.
Some see sex as a set of diminishing returns.
Some see sex as an escape from themselves.
Some see sex with a keyboard and mouse.
Some see sex as a communion of Temples.
Some see sex as something not to discuss.
Some see sex as just another thing to do.
Some see sex as a battleground for Lust.
Some see sex as an extra long shower.
Some see sex as profane and obscene.
Some see sex an personal preference.
Some see sex as ages-old Dogma.
Some see sex as Heterosexuality.
Some see sex as all that there is.
Some see sex as uncomfortable.
Some see sex philosophically.
Some see sex as a distraction.
Some see sex as meaningless.
Some see sex as a way of life.
Some see sex as a good time.
Some see sex as metaphor.
Some see sex as necessity.
Some see sex as a luxury.
Some see sex as a game.
Some see sex as Mythic.
Some see sex as a drug.
Some see sex as Virtue.
Some see sex as Logic.
Some see sex as Good.
Some see sex as Love.
Some see sex as Lust.
Some see sex as Evil.
Some see sex as Sin.
Few see sex the same way:
How do you see sex?
The only right answers for you are yours.
How do you see sex?
From the first person, or perhaps third?
Is sex a vicarious thing, or is it personal?
How do you see sex?
Is promiscuity absurd?
How do you see sex?
Can your sex life affect others?
How do you see sex?
Does it matter who it’s with?
Does it matter with how many?
Does it matter how rapidly?
Does it matter why?
It sure does to me.
Does it matter for how long?
Does it matter how often?
Does it matter where?
Does it matter when?
Not with the right person.
