A humble home, a haven from the storm,
A cozy sanctuary, a place to be warm.
A roof over your head,
Is more important than the stars in the sky spread.
For the stars are but distant lights,
That twinkle and gleam in the darkest nights.
But a home is a place where your heart can rest,
Where you are safe and loved, at your very best.
So cherish your shelter, your humble abode,
For it is a blessing, a gift bestowed.
And though the stars may be bright and fair,
A home is a treasure beyond compare.

Tapestry of Life
Needle and thread at my fingertips, I weave the tapestry of my life. Scars, witnesses to my resilience, Bruises, reminders of my healing, Heart, stronger but bleeding, Life, calming but clouded with pain, Ocean, stormy but destined for tranquility.
The future, a canvas waiting to be painted, Though my plans may not adhere to my design. Sometimes I yearn to flee, But life’s grip is firm, demanding patience.
So I wait, darkness my companion, Four walls my sanctuary. Until we meet again, I leave you my whispering poems, Thoughts to ponder and reflect upon.
I am a poet, my soul a fertile ground, Where poetry blooms like wildflowers unbound.

In My Corner
In my cozy corner, I find solace,
The window open, revealing a tranquil scene.
The sound of slumber echoes softly,
My light illuminating the dusk with gentle sheen.
Yet, my mind wanders, yearning for you,
My heart aches, longing for your embrace.
Do you too have a haven, a sanctuary,
A place where you find solace and grace?
Is it a person, a kindred spirit,
A source of warmth and kindred light?
Or is it a place, a cherished refuge,
Where you find solace, day and night?
Wherever your corner may be,
I hope it brings you solace and peace.
And may we one day find each other’s corners,
Where our love will forever increase.

Sunday Sanctuary
Sunday Sanctuary
Amidst the chaos of life’s fast pace,
Sunday offers a moment to embrace,
A sanctuary of peace and calm,
To let go of worries and find a balm,
In the stillness of a lazy day,
Sunday sanctuary, my soul does sway.

Warmth of your Embrace
When you embraced me onto your chest,
I felt the world’s worries wane away, weightless and blessed.
Your heart’s harmony hummed a healing hymn,
Hushing my hurried hustle, holding me within.
The warmth of your embrace was a safe haven,
A serene sanctuary, a soothing sensation.
Savoring the stillness, I surrendered to slumber,
Soulfully secured, in a state of wonder.

Hug of Words
Hug of Words
Wrap me in a hug of words,
Soft and warm like singing birds.
Let them caress my weary soul,
And make my broken spirit whole.Let them flow like a gentle stream,
A balm for wounds that still do gleam.
Let them lift me up, and set me free,
From the chains of doubt that bind me.Let them weave a tapestry of love,
A safety net from the world above.
Let them heal the hurts of the past,
And make the present a time to last. For in the hug of words, I find,
A sanctuary for the heart and mind.
A place where dreams can take flight,
And hope can shine like a beacon bright. So wrap me in a hug of words,
And let them be the sweetest of birds.
Let them comfort, let them console,
And make my heart forever whole.

A Hymn to Home and Health
A Hymn to Home and Health
Home, sweet haven of warmth and rest
A sanctuary where hearts are blessed
Surrounded by love and family ties
Here, in the heart, all worries diesHealth, the greatest wealth of all
Without it, even mansions fall
May this hymn of gratitude start
For the blessings of home and health, dear heart

A Poem of Gratitude and Affection
In your arms, I find comfort and peace
With each passing day, my heart overflows
Grateful for the love that constantly glows
Affectionate moments that make life worthwhile
A joyous journey with each passing mileIn your arms, I find comfort and peace
My heart’s sanctuary, where all worries cease
This poem is but a simple reflection
Of my gratitude and deep affection

Finding Comfort in Home and Hearth
Finding Comfort in Home and Hearth
In the warmth of home and hearth, I find peace,
The crackling of logs, the flicker of flames, a release,
From the worries of the world, I retreat,
To a place of comfort, where my heart beats. The walls of my home, they hold me tight,
A sanctuary of love, that feels just right,
With family and friends, I’m never alone,
Finding comfort in home and hearth, my heart has flown.
