  A humble home, a haven from the storm,
  A cozy sanctuary, a place to be warm.
  A roof over your head,
  Is more important than the stars in the sky spread.
  
  For the stars are but distant lights,
  That twinkle and gleam in the darkest nights.
  But a home is a place where your heart can rest,
  Where you are safe and loved, at your very best.
  
  So cherish your shelter, your humble abode,
  For it is a blessing, a gift bestowed.
  And though the stars may be bright and fair,
  A home is a treasure beyond compare.

• The Forgotten Ones

  In dark alleys and crowded streets,
  They roam without hope or heat,
  Forgotten faces, empty plates,
  Cold wind whips through ragged clothes.
  
  Some call them vagrants, others trash,
  Discarded by society’s class,
  But they are human, worthy of care,
  Not invisible, nor beyond repair.
  
  Let us reach out, lend a helping hand,
  Offer warmth, shelter from the storm,
  Break bread together, share stories told,
  And remember those long forgotten souls.

  Beneath the umbrella of nightmares, I seek refuge from my fears and cares, The rain pours down, a relentless beat, But here I’m safe, I find retreat.

  The winds may howl, the thunder roar, But I’m protected, forevermore, From the chaos that rages outside, I find solace, I find my stride.

  The umbrella shields me from the pain, And I know I’ll weather the storm again, For in this shelter, I find my might, And emerge stronger, ready to fight.

  What are three objects you couldn’t live without?

  

  Water, Food and Shelter

  Three things humans need to survive,
  To stay alive and to thrive,
  Water, food, and shelter are key,
  The basics of human necessity.

  Water, the elixir of life,
  It quenches our thirst and relieves our strife,
  We need it to survive each day,
  Without it, life slips away.

  Food, the fuel that keeps us going,
  It provides the energy for living and growing,
  From fruits and vegetables to grains and meat,
  We rely on food for our body’s complete.

  Shelter, the home that keeps us safe,
  A sanctuary from the elements and a peaceful space,
  It provides warmth and comfort from the storm,
  A place where we can be ourselves and feel reborn.

  Water, food, and shelter, the trifecta of survival,
  The key to our health, and the path to revival,
  These three things we cannot live without,
  They are the essence of what life is all about.
