When all is still, and darkness reigns supreme
Amidst the silence, a tale of life’s dreams
Are born in the heart, where hope does gleam
In whispers soft, a secret it would seem
The world outside may be barren and cold
But within, a fire burns, bold and old
It warms the soul, and lifts the veil
Revealing visions of a brighter sail
Across the horizon, a glimmer appears
A light that guides, through doubts and fears
A promise kept, a journey to pursue
A future bright, for me and you
So let us embrace this quiet night
And let our imaginations take flight
For when everything ceases, we find peace
And in our hearts, a new beginning release.

You ran dry my words
The moment you left, the words just died.
You ran dry of what I had tried.
My heart was so broken and bruised,
My words now forever just refused.
My emotions so raw and painful to speak,
My words were emptied by what I seek.
My mind so heavy that all went dark,
My mouth dry of what I should hark.
You ran dry my words of wisdom,
All that really mattered is now forgotten.
My revelations now suspended in null,
My speech a speechless lull.
I was a quill without its ink,
My thoughts in a river, a permanent blink.
No longer having what to say,
I just lay there throughout the day.
But when I thought you had gone for good,
My words re-emerged from where they stood.
My mouth could speak again from the depths,
My words had life within each breath.
The moment you left, the words just died.
You ran dry of what I had tried.
But without you and the pain I saw,
My words would never re-draw.

Impromptu poem
In the lacuna between silence’s hush
And the sighs that exhale my angst, my rush,
I lie awake, my mind a restless sea,
A tempest of thought, unbridled and free.
The abyss of silence, vast and deep,
Where echoes of dreams and memories sleep,
Is pierced by the sighs that rise from my chest,
A lament for the lost, a plea for the blessed.
In this liminal space, between two worlds,
Where the veil of reality softly unfurls,
I find myself suspended, adrift in time,
A witness to the sublime and the sublime.
O, space between silence and sighs,
You hold the secrets of the night skies,
The mysteries of the cosmos and the soul,
The tapestry of life, where all things unfold.
In your embrace, I find solace and dread,
A paradox of being, both alive and dead.
For in this liminal space, I am reborn,
A Phoenix rising from the ashes of dawn.

In the End
When humanity exhausts the last fish, Exhumes all that remains, Severs the final tree, And devours the last drop of pure water, Only then will they perceive the devastation wrought by their hands.
Our tears, a paltry offering, Unable to hydrate and nurture the fruits of our actions.
Only forgiveness and compassion for ourselves can avert this looming disaster.
Our future hangs in the balance, Blowing in the hurricanes and tornadoes, Quaking the earth and shaking our souls to the core.
Yet silence stifles the world’s cries, Ignorance, a virulent disease that consumes our tears and steals our breath, For the sake of popular opinion.
There is no freedom after suffocation.
Climate change, a grim reality, no longer a jest.

Whispers Among Trees
Through the wide expanse of trees,
The winds whisper secrets, soft and free.
Caressed by gentle zephyrs, whispered with grace,
A melody of secrets, adrift in this sacred space.
Whispers carried by the breeze’s gentle sway,
Tales of love and longing, in a mysterious way.
The trees sway in rhythm, as if in harmony,
Singing the ballad of you and me.
In the language of leaves, the secrets unfurl,
The winds, faithful messengers, in a beautiful swirl.
They tell of stolen glances and hearts filled with fire,
Of whispered promises, igniting desire.
In the dance of the branches, a symphony of desire,
The breeze weaves a tapestry, setting souls afire.
Oh, how the winds sing, in a language so rare,
The story of us, woven through the autumn air.
So listen, dear lover, to the whispers in the trees,
Their ethereal chorus, carried on gentle breeze.
For in their subtle rustle, the secrets will be found,
The love that blooms in silence, with a tender sound.

Stone Sea
Water turned into stone, trenches engrave bones known
God forsaken or forsaken Him, back to water, thirst’s groanSadness toast, hat tipped to despair, anger seethes in silence’s lair
Searching for light, sun’s fragments touched, disappearing at night’s glareFate’s jaws trapped, something to contemplate, pain religion, belief overdue
Anguish commemorates love’s giving heart, beats in isolation, soul blue.

Words Unspoken
Sometimes the words are hard to find
To express the thoughts inside my mind
I try to bridge the gaps between
But sometimes the words are out of reach, unseenSilence fills the space between us two
Leaving me with too much time to muse
Wondering what you might be thinking too
Lost in contemplation, without a clueI stroke your hair, and my thoughts subside
Finding peace in the warmth of your side
As our bodies align, I feel the beat
Of the love in my heart, so pure and sweetLying beside you, I finally speak
Telling you of the love I seek
“I love you,” I say, my heart unbroken
Finally finding the words unspoken.

It’s 2:33 am
In the still of night,
When the world’s out of sight,
And the moon shines bright,
At 2:33 am, all is right. The clock ticks on,
As the night wears on,
And the world is gone,
At 2:33 am, I’m not alone. The silence surrounds,
As the night abounds,
And the stillness astounds,
At 2:33 am, peace is found. The world is asleep,
And the night is deep,
As I watch and keep,
At 2:33 am, my soul can weep.In this moment in time,
Where the stars align,
And the world is divine,
At 2:33 am, life is just fine.

The Darkest Void
I stand in the center of the darkest void,
Where light and hope are quickly destroyed,
The silence here is deafeningly loud,
And darkness wraps around like a shroud.
No stars above to guide my way,
No path ahead, no night or day,
I’m lost within this endless space,
A lonely figure with no trace.
But still I stand, I will not fall,
For deep within my soul, a light does call,
A flicker of hope that burns so bright,
Guiding me through the darkest night.

The World is Dozing
The world is dozing, asleep in its bed,
Dreams of tomorrow dance in its head,
The stars up above twinkle and gleam,
As the world slumbers, lost in a dream.
The moon casts a spell, a magical light,
As the world sleeps through the night,
The silence is deep, peaceful and still,
As the world rests, under the moon’s chill.
The night creatures stir, as if on cue,
Owls hoot and crickets sing too,
The world is dozing, lost in its rest,
Tomorrow will come, but for now, it’s best.

Lost in the Woods
Surrounded by a deep eerie forest,
Where trees towered and leaves rustled with unrest.
The path was winding and the air was cold,
The journey ahead seemed dark and bold. The moon was hidden behind a veil of mist,
And the stars were scarce, as if they didn’t exist.
The silence was broken by an owl’s hoot,
And the sound of footsteps that followed suit. The darkness enveloped everything in sight,
As I stumbled forward with all my might.
Lost in the woods, with no end in sight,
I prayed for dawn to bring some light.

Hushing of the Humming World
Absorbed sounds hushing in the hazy air,
Silence spreading its wings everywhere,
Serenity seeping into the soul,
Calmness conquering chaos’ control.Tranquility triumphing over turmoil’s tide,
Muting all noises far and wide,
Stillness settling in every space,
Peacefulness pervading every place. The rustling leaves and humming bees,
All absorbed in the tranquil breeze,
The chirping birds and flowing streams,
All lost in the serenity of dreams. The world absorbed in peaceful rest,
A moment of calmness at its best,
The hushing of the humming world,
A symphony of silence softly unfurled.

The Meaningless Words
Words that have no meaning,
Are like a bird without wings.
They flutter and fall,
And never make a call.Their sound is empty,
And their purpose is plenty.
To fill the silence,
With meaningless violence. But in the end, we find,
That words are not blind.
For even when they’re absurd,
They can still be heard.

The Solitude Fence
The thing about silence is that it lines
The fences of solitude, where one often pines
For a connection, a voice, a comforting sound
But in the stillness, only echoes rebound. The solitude fence can be hard to climb
But with introspection, one can find the time
To appreciate the peace that comes with being alone
And to make the solitude fence one’s own.The mind becomes clear, the heart settles down
And in the tranquil silence, one can be found.

Evening Reprieve
Your exhausted sigh in the evenings,
Marks the end of the day’s dealings.
Your mind is tired, your body weak,
As the long day has reached its peak.
I try to offer comfort and care,
To show you that I’ll always be there.
You rest your head on my shoulder,
And we bask in the silence’s holder.
Together, we find solace and peace,
As the day’s stresses finally cease.
So let us enjoy this moment to retrieve,
And embrace the calm of our evening reprieve.

When Words Fail
If you are too tired to speak,
And your voice feels small and meek,
Know that silence can be strong,
And healing comes when we belong. When words fail and thoughts run deep,
And emotions inside us steep,
We can find solace in the quiet,
And let our minds find their own diet.Sometimes the world can be too loud,
And our minds can feel like a crowd.
But in the stillness, we can find peace,
And let our worries and fears release. If you are too tired to speak,
Just rest and let your spirit seek,
The beauty that’s found in the still,
And let your heart find its own thrill.

A Heart Heavy with Grief
A heart heavy with grief, it sighs,
As tears cascade from weary eyes,
In the silence of the night, it cries,
For the love that’s lost, and the goodbyes.Through the darkness, it seeks the light,
A glimmer of hope, a respite,
Yet in the shadows, it must fight,
To mend the pieces, torn by plight.

I Am Fluent in the Language of Silence
I Am Fluent in the Language of Silence
In the stillness of my soul, The language of silence takes control, Words need not be spoken to convey, Emotions that abound within, night or day.
Silent gestures, subtle cues, All flow seamlessly, no need to espouse, No tongue, no sound, no auditory claim, For in the language of silence, all is the same.

I sit and stare at the walls
I sit and stare at the walls
I sit and stare at the walls, Silence echoes through these halls, My thoughts drift into the unknown, Trapped in this room, all alone.
The walls, they close in on me, A prisoner of my mind, it seems, Lost in my own space and time, Trying to outrun the daily grind.

The Silence Between Us
The Silence Between Us
The silence between us speaks so loud,
Echoing through the air like a shroud.
Words left unspoken, emotions unsaid,
Leaving us with a feeling of dread. We sit in silence, side by side,
Our hearts heavy, our souls denied.
We’re afraid to speak, afraid to be heard,
Afraid that our words will be lost in the words. But the silence between us is a heavy weight,
A burden we carry, a constant debate.
We long to connect, to feel understood,
But the silence between us feels like a hood.So let’s break the silence, let’s speak our truth,
Let’s share our hearts, our hopes, our youth.
For the silence between us is a choice we make,
And the words we speak, can help us shake. The silence between us can be broken,
And the words we speak, can be a token,
Of the love and connection we long to feel,
And the healing and growth that we can reveal.

In a Land of Silence
In the land of silence
In a land of silence, where the ghosts do roam,
There’s a whisper of the past, that’s hard to disown.
With every step, a creak of the floor,
And every breath, a chill to the core.In a land of silence, where the spirits dwell,
There’s a haunting of the heart, that’s hard to quell.
With every shadow, a presence felt,
And every thought, a moment dealt. In a land of silence, where the dead do sleep,
There’s a memory of the love, that’s hard to keep.
With every sigh, a moment of grace,
And every tear, a moment to embrace. For in the land of silence, we find a truth,
A reminder of the past, and the moments of youth.
It’s the memories kept, and the love we share,
That make us whole, and help us to care.So let us wander, in the land of silence,
And embrace the ghosts, with love and reliance.
For in the end, it’s the moments we keep,
That make life worth living, and help us to sleep.

A Shout in the Void
A Shout in the Void
A shout in the void, a voice in the dark,
A cry for help, a plea for a spark.
An echo that reverberates without a sound,
A silence that’s deafening, a void that’s profound. In the emptiness, we search for a sign,
A glimmer of hope, a light to shine.
A path to follow, a direction to take,
A journey to make, a soul to awake. For in the void, there’s a chance to hear,
The whispers of the heart, the voice that’s near.
A chance to find, a chance to see,
The beauty that’s hidden, the truth that’s free.So let us embrace the shout in the void,
And trust the journey that’s ahead.
For in the silence, there’s a chance to avoid,
The noise that can drown out the voice that’s led.© VishalDutia

Wise Speak in Silence
Wise Speak in Silence
In stillness, wisdom speaks its truth,
A voice that echoes from the youth,
A power that can calm the storm,
And guide us through life’s every form.Silence speaks in whispers soft,
A language that the wise have oft,
Used to share their deepest thoughts,
And teach us what true wisdom wrought. For in the quiet of our hearts,
We hear the words that set us apart,
From the noise and chaos of the day,
And lead us on the path that’s right and true and gay.So listen well to wisdom’s voice,
It speaks in silence, but its choice,
Is to guide us to a life well-lived,
Where love and joy and peace are freely given.

Choose to Love You in Silence
Choose to Love You in Silence
Choose to love you in silence, my heart
For it is in the quiet that love can start
Unspoken words, they hold so much power
As they bloom and grow like a beautiful flower
No need for grand gestures or spoken vows
For my love for you will reflect in my eyes and brows
I’ll be there for you in the shadows and light
Choosing to love you in silence, with all my might.

The Sorrowful Walls
The Sorrowful Walls
The walls stand tall, but oh so weak
In silence, they listen to the hearts that speak
Whispers of pain and sorrow they hear
As they hold their secrets, year after year
The cracks in the walls tell a story
Of a life that’s been broken and full of worry
The sorrowful walls, they bear the weight
Of a past that’s haunting, and a future that’s late.

The Pain of Being Me
The Pain of Being Me
I live in a world that does not understand me
A world that judges me by how I look and act
A world that expects me to conform and agree
A world that rejects me for being different and abstractI suffer in silence as I hide my true self
As I pretend to be someone that I’m not
As I suppress my feelings and emotions on a shelf
As I deny my identity and dreams that I’ve gotI cry in the dark as I feel alone and hopeless
As I wonder if there’s anyone who cares
As I question if there’s any meaning or purpose
As I despair if there’s any hope or prayersI long for a day when I can be free and happy
When I can embrace who I am and what I feel
When I can find someone who loves me for me

On a journey of fear and doubt,
With no light to guide me out.The silence is deafening,

Silence and Symphony
Silence and Symphony
Silence and symphony, what a pair
One so still, the other with such flair
Yet both can bring a sense of awe
One with grandeur, one with peace in its rawSilence can be so loud, in its own right
A world without noise, a blanket of night
But a symphony can stir the soul
A masterpiece of music, an art so bold

The Clouds of Solitude
The Clouds of Solitude
Up in the sky, the clouds float by,
A dance of solitude, in the vast blue sky.
With every move, a story unfolds,
And every shape, a tale untold. The clouds of solitude, they drift so far,
A journey of silence, in the midst of the stars.
With every breeze, they change their form,
A canvas of wonder, in the midst of the storm. The clouds of solitude, they speak so loud,
A language of dreams, in the midst of the crowd.
With every hue, they paint the sky,
A masterpiece of beauty, that never will die.For the clouds of solitude, they hold a truth,
A reminder of the peace, that’s within our youth.
With every moment, they teach us to breathe,
A lesson of stillness, that we should never leave. So let us cherish the clouds of solitude,
And the moments of peace, that they imbue.
For in the end, it’s the moments of calm,
That keep us grounded, and keep us from harm.

All My Thoughts Are Void and Voiceless
All My Thoughts Are Void and Voiceless
All my thoughts are void and voiceless,
Echoes in an empty room,
Silent whispers in the darkness,
Lost in shadows, lost in gloom.I try to give them words and meaning,
But they slip away like sand,
And I am left with nothing,
No voice, no word, no hand. It’s like a constant battle,
Between my mind and soul,
And though I try to fight it,
I’m never quite in control. So I sit in quiet stillness,
And let the silence reign,
Hoping that in time,
My thoughts will speak again.

My Lips Are Sealed
My Lips Are Sealed
My lips are sealed, I cannot speak,
My secrets I must keep,
For if I were to let them out,
The consequences would be deep. The weight of all my hidden thoughts,
Is heavy on my chest,
But I must bear it silently,
And hope that I can rest. For there are things that cannot be said,
And truths that must remain,
Locked inside the heart and mind,
Until the end of days.So though it may be difficult,
To keep my lips shut tight,
I know that in the end,
It’s for the greater good and right.

The Lonely Road
The Lonely Road
The road ahead is long and bleak,
A lonely journey, without a peek.
The world around, is dull and gray,
As I walk on, day after day.The silence of the road, is deafening,
A void that’s so unforgiving.
The wind howls, as I trudge on,
With a heavy heart, all alone. The memories of the past, haunt me,
A reminder of what used to be.
The laughter and the love, so pure,
Now nothing but a distant lure. The road ahead, is filled with pain,
A constant battle, without a gain.
But I walk on, with a purpose in sight,
To find the light, in this endless night. The lonely road, is a test of will,
A journey that’s uphill, still.
But I’ll keep on walking, with my head held high,
And never let this loneliness, make me shy.
