Letters once scribed
By your hand, they won’t fade,
But my tears obscure the page.
In my sorrow and solitude,
As the day draws to a close,
Your vision haunts my mind.
I see your eyes, like pools of starlight,
Your smile, a radiant bloom.
Your touch, a gentle symphony,
Your voice, a soothing balm.
Oh, how I long to feel your embrace,
To hear your laughter in the air.
But for now, I cherish these inked memories,
A testament to our love, so rare.

Letters Once Inked

Life is life
Life is life, and what is more
Than life? A little song
Of joy or sorrow, more
Or less, a little day
Of sun or shade, of play
Or work, of love or hate,
Of laughter or of tears,
A little space between
The cradle and the grave.
Life is life, and what is less
Than life? A little dream
Of beauty, or of bliss,
A little hope, a gleam
Of sunshine on a cloud,
A little starlight thrown
Across the shadows deep,
A little joy unknown,
A little grief unwept.
Life is life, and what is best
Than life? A little love
That fills the heart above
With joy, and makes it move
With strength and purity,
And makes it live and be
A little light of God
In the great darkness here.

Starlight Serenade
Starlight Serenade
Under the starry sky, with a gentle breeze,
We dance to the rhythm, of the rustling trees.
The stars above, shine so bright,
Guiding us through, the darkness of the night. The moon’s soft glow, illuminates our path,
As we move to the music, without any wrath.
The night is ours, to explore and roam,
As we bask in the beauty, of the starlit dome. The stars sing to us, in a sweet melody,
A serenade of light, that’s ever so lovely.
Their twinkling dance, fills us with glee,
As we lose ourselves, in this celestial spree.Under the starry sky, we’ll dance and play,
As we revel in the beauty, of the Milky Way.
The starlight serenade, will never fade away,
As we cherish this moment, forever and a day.
