When all the world was bright with spring,
And love’s young dream was mine,
I thought no ill could ever bring
A cloud across the shine.
But, lo! the storm came sudden o’er,
The sky grew dark and drear;
And love, that seemed so bright before,
Was changed to bitter fear.
And now I know that love is blind,
And hope is all a lie;
And he who trusts in womankind
Must surely rue the day.
For love is like a summer dream,
That fades away too soon;
And he who hopes to win the gleam
Must pay the bitter boon.
So let me learn from bitterest woe
The lesson love has taught,
And never trust to woman’s vow,
Or hope to win her heart.

Solstice
Oh, solstice, time of turning,
When light and dark convene,
A cosmic dance of balance,
A sacred pause unseen.In summer’s radiant splendor,
The sun ascends its throne,
A fiery ball of brilliance,
That warms us to the bone.At winter’s darkest vigil,
When night’s embrace is deep,
A glimmer of rebirth awakes,
As shadows gently creep.Solstice, sacred threshold,
Where worlds collide and blend,
A timeless mystery unfolds,
A story yet unpenned.Let us gather on this day,
To celebrate the light,
To honor darkness too,
And all that lies between. For in the dance of opposites,
We find our perfect place,
A cosmic tapestry of life,
Where time and space embrace.Solstice, time of turning,
When light and dark convene,
A sacred pause for wonder,
Where dreams and magic teem.balance, blend, brilliance, celebrate, Collide, convene, cosmic dance, cosmic tapestry, dark, darkest vigil, dreams, fiery ball, gather, glimmer of rebirth, honor, life, light, magic, night’s embrace, Opposites, perfect place, Poetry, radiant splendor, sacred pause, shadows, solstice, space, Story, summer, sun, threshold, throne, Time, timeless mystery, turning, winter, wonder, worlds

Ephemeral Beauty
A flower blooms in the morning sun,
Its petals soft and pure and white.
But by the evening, it is gone,
Its beauty lost to sight.A bird sings in the summer air,
Its song a sweet and joyful sound.
But by winter, it is silent,
Its song no longer found.A moment of love, a touch of hand,
A kiss that seals a promise true.
But like a flower or a bird’s song,
These things are fleeting too.So let us savor all that is,
The good and the bad, the joy and the pain.
For all things are ephemeral,
And nothing lasts forever.

The Epiphany
Epiphany, a sudden realization,
A moment of truth, a new sensation,
A flash of insight, a bright idea,
A paradigm shift, a revelation so clear. The veil is lifted, the fog is gone,
The path is clear, the light shines on,
A new perspective, a different view,
The world transformed, fresh and new.

Summer’s Breeze
A gentle breeze during the heat of summer,
Brings relief to all, both newcomer and comer.
The sun beats down, scorching the earth,
But the breeze brings coolness, for all it’s worth.
It rustles the leaves and dances with trees,
A symphony of sound carried on by the breeze.
It cools our skin and refreshes our soul,
As we bask in summer’s warmth, a feeling whole.
The air is alive with the scent of summer,
As we embrace the season’s joyful wonder.
So let the breeze blow, let the sun shine,
As we revel in summer’s moments divine.

Summerpunk Lady
Summerpunk Lady
Summerpunk lady, a vision so bright,
A fusion of contrasts, that’s a pure delight,
A world of punk, with a summer vibe,
A thing of beauty, that’s hard to describe. Her hair, it’s dyed, with neon hues,
A rainbow of colors, that’s hard to refuse,
Her clothes, they’re torn, with a punk edge,
A style so unique, that’s hard to allege. Her makeup, it’s bold, with a touch of glam,
A statement of beauty, that’s more than a sham,
Her eyes, they sparkle, with a life of their own,
A thing of beauty, that’s hard to dethrone. She walks with a strut, and a confidence so pure,
A rebel at heart, that’s hard to obscure,
Her spirit, it’s free, with a summerpunk flair,
A thing of beauty, that’s beyond compare.Summerpunk lady, a vision so bright,
A fusion of contrasts, that’s a pure delight,
A world of punk, with a summer vibe,
A thing of beauty, that’s hard to describe.

The Prisms of Life
Life’s spectrum shines bright
Reflecting prisms of pure light
A multitude of colors dance
In each precious, fleeting glanceFrom birth to death, we journey through
The prisms of life, old and new
Each moment a hue to behold
A story of color to unfoldGolden sunsets and amber leaves
The hues of autumn weave and breathe
Winter’s chill, a crystal sight
A prism of blue, icy and brightSpring flowers in rosy bloom
A prism of pink, their sweet perfume
Summer days of emerald green
A prism of life, a vibrant sceneThe prisms of life, varied and true
A kaleidoscope of tales for me and you
Let’s cherish each color, each hue
For life’s prism is ever-changing and new.

Frozen Lemonade
Frozen Lemonade
Sun beats down on a summer day
A cool drink to make the heat go away
Tart and sweet, a perfect blend
A frozen treat that won’t soon endSipping slowly, feeling refreshed
Coldness numbs my tongue and chest
Frozen lemonade, my go-to choice
A summer drink that I always rejoice

The Forest’s Whisper #Poetry
The forest whispers in the breeze,
A voice as soft as summer leaves.
It speaks of secrets, old and wise,
Of nature’s magic in disguise. The sunbeams dance through branches high,
A shower of gold in the summer sky.
The rustling leaves, a symphony,
Of life, and growth, and harmony. So take a walk, my friend, and listen,
To the whispers of the forest trees.
Let them carry you away, to places,
Where peace and wonder, forever be.© VishalDutia

Imprisoned Feelings #Poetry
Heart is craving for your love,
Your smell is one of a kind,
Around my head tightened rope,
Silhouette of you brightens the night.
Steer the ship through the storm,
Let your heart into a free dive,
My summer breeze, keep me warm,
İnstead of living a soulless life.
The last thing I think of at night,
Embraced together facing sunrise,
Inside me an instant fight,
Your smile hide those teary eyes.
You are my sunshine, you are my spring,
The storm is over, the day is bright,
We have a lot more to bring,
The horizon is either black or white.©VishalDutia

She’s your Shade and Blanket
U will never find a Sunrise,
that Sunsets Her Treasured Smile.
U will never find a Season,
that Offsets Her Romancing Style.
Her Mind that races Faster,
has Hands that are often Kind.
Her Heart is always Forgiving,
with Generosity U will never Find.
She’s your Shade, in sultry Summer
and your Blanket, when it’s Cold.
Her Nights are lit with Passions,
with Desires Hot and Bold.
There’s much more to a Woman,
than what’s written on Her Face.
With Feelings that are Full of Life.
She will win any given Race.© VishalDutia
