The space between the two is thin,
A line so fine, it’s hard to see.
One step in either direction,
And you’re no longer what you used to be.
The innocent are quick to judge,
The guilty quick to hide.
But who is truly right or wrong?
Who can say with certainty?
The truth is, we all fall somewhere
In between the two extremes.
We all have our moments of weakness,
Our moments of sin.
So let’s not be so quick to judge,
Let’s not be so quick to hate.
Let’s try to understand,
And let’s try to forgive.
Because in the end, we’re all just human,
Trying to make our way through this life.
And we all deserve a second chance,
No matter what we’ve done.

Between Innocent and Guilt

My spirits lifted
My spirits lifted, my heart feels light,
The clouds have parted, the sun shines bright.
The world is a better place today,
For I have found a friend in you, a way.To lift me up when I am down,
To make me laugh when I am frown.
To share my joys and share my pain,
To be there for me through thick and thin. You are a true friend, a rare gem,
I am so grateful to have you in my life.
You make me feel loved and cherished,
And I will always be here for you, my friend.Thank you for lifting my spirits,
I am so glad that we are friends.

The Paradox of Lost and Found
Lost or found, it’s all the same,
A paradox with none to blame,
For what is lost must first be found,
And what is found may soon astound. The line between them is so thin,
It’s hard to tell where to begin,
For when we lose, we often gain,
And when we find, we feel the pain. The search for truth is never done,
For what is lost cannot be won,
But in the end, we all must see,
That lost and found are meant to be.

The Thin Blue Haze
The Thin Blue Haze
The thin blue haze fills the air,
As we lose ourselves without a care,
Passion ignites, desire takes hold,
Bodies entwined, no need for words to be told. Our hearts beat as one, in this moment we share,
The world fades away, without a single care,
The thin blue haze envelopes us in its embrace,
In this erotic bliss, we find our happy place.

Drifting
Drifting again in thin air.
No hard rudder to hold fast
Against the waves.
The hull preserves the past.
Endless time ahead and gone.
All that matters left untended.
Mindless minutes uncounted.
The sails sagged against the deck.
Many more miles of space ahead.
Tall mast stretched against the sky.
Blue flat water all around.
Last safe harbor out of sight.
In this place under a clear sky,
My shadow stands below my feet.
There, a sturdy leg gives way,
To another quiet windless day.
