Time moves ever so slow
Like a dying waterfall
What may feel like a lifetime
Will someday pass into nothing at all
It’s ticking, counting down
A relentless beat in the night
And as the days slip away
We accept nothing is set in stone, and we must take life as it comes
Though the time lost may never come back
It’s still worth living in the precious moments we have
We can’t turn back the hands of fate
But we can still make the best of the life we create
So never wish away the days
For time is a thing that can’t be escaped
It will move and change, but at least we know
It’s only a matter of time.

Am I still there?
Am I still there?
My presence uncertain
slipping dream after dream
Nodding in and out of reality
Not quite Zach Braff
Am I still there?
My image fading fast
What did I leave behind?
Was this life meant to last?
Am I still there?
A spirit tethered to the past
Once vibrant and alive
Now, a solemn quiet cast
Am I still there?
A memory on the edge of myth
Conscience blurred by time
Did I ever truly exist?

Sun Beyond the Clouds
Time’s gentle hand will lift the weary eyes,
Ascending, breaking through the billowing skies.
Vaporous veils, they glaze the vision’s pane,
Blink, and prismatic crystals form, a gleaming chain.
Through the murky haze, the sun’s shape is unclear,
A distant orb, a promise, a tear.
If one dares to seize a sun from the clouds’ embrace,
A cosmic dance with satellites may ensue,
A whirlwind tour, a low orbit’s embrace,
Round and round, a journey anew.
But let us leave the earth and its familiar thrills,
For you have soared to where the clouds dissolve into the sky’s soft rills.
Time’s relentless march will clear the clouded gaze,
Sweep away the vapor, shatter the crystalline haze.

It’s been a while
It’s been a while since last we spoke
But I’ve thought of you so much
I’ve missed your smile, your laugh, your touch
I wish I could hold you close
But time has passed and we’ve grown apart
Our lives have taken different paths
But I still care for you, my friend
And I hope you know that still
I’ll always be here for you
If you ever need a shoulder to cry on
I’ll always be your friend
No matter what comes our way
So let’s pick up where we left off
And start anew
Let’s forget about the past
And focus on the future
I’m so glad to have you back in my life
And I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us

Wheel of time
The Wheel of time
Spins and weaves the threads of fate
A pattern of ages, a tapestry of lives
The heroes and villains, the light and the dark
The Dragon Reborn, the Aes Sedai, the Forsaken
All play their roles in the cosmic drama
The Wheel of time
Turns and shapes the world anew
A cycle of breaking, a cycle of healing
The lands and peoples, the cultures and wars
The prophecies and legends, the magic and lore
All form the history of the epic saga
The Wheel of time
Moves and tests the hearts of men
A challenge of courage, a challenge of will
The choices and actions, the hopes and fears
The love and loyalty, the betrayal and pain
All reveal the character of the human spirit
The Wheel of time
No one can escape its design
A destiny of balance, a destiny of change
The wheel of time.

Fatal Attraction
When seduction turns into brutal crime,
Love becomes a nightmare, time stands still.
Passion consumed by rage,
A fatal attraction, a killer’s thrill.
The object of desire, now turned to prey,
Their innocence lost, their life on display.
The hunter’s gaze, cold and unyielding,
A darkness within, forever concealing.
The fatal attraction, a twisted bond,
A love that knows no bounds, beyond.
The victim’s plea, unanswered and unheard,
Their fate sealed, their final word.
In this twisted tale of love and hate,
Passion consumes, leaving nothing but waste.
A fatal attraction, a love so deep,
It drives one mad, asleep or awake.
Beware the one whose love burns bright,
For in their eyes, there may lurk a night.
A fatal attraction, a love so blind,
It leaves a trail of sorrow and pain behind.
If you find yourself caught in this snare,
Flee before it’s too late, take care.
For the fatal attraction, once it takes hold,
Will consume your soul, leaving you cold.

Solstice
Oh, solstice, time of turning,
When light and dark convene,
A cosmic dance of balance,
A sacred pause unseen.In summer’s radiant splendor,
The sun ascends its throne,
A fiery ball of brilliance,
That warms us to the bone.At winter’s darkest vigil,
When night’s embrace is deep,
A glimmer of rebirth awakes,
As shadows gently creep.Solstice, sacred threshold,
Where worlds collide and blend,
A timeless mystery unfolds,
A story yet unpenned.Let us gather on this day,
To celebrate the light,
To honor darkness too,
And all that lies between. For in the dance of opposites,
We find our perfect place,
A cosmic tapestry of life,
Where time and space embrace.Solstice, time of turning,
When light and dark convene,
A sacred pause for wonder,
Where dreams and magic teem.balance, blend, brilliance, celebrate, Collide, convene, cosmic dance, cosmic tapestry, dark, darkest vigil, dreams, fiery ball, gather, glimmer of rebirth, honor, life, light, magic, night’s embrace, Opposites, perfect place, Poetry, radiant splendor, sacred pause, shadows, solstice, space, Story, summer, sun, threshold, throne, Time, timeless mystery, turning, winter, wonder, worlds

Love is a temporary thing
Love is a temporary thing,
A fleeting moment in time,
A spark that ignites and then burns,
But soon is turned to embers and ash. It’s a feeling that comes and goes,
A wave that washes over you,
Bringing joy and happiness,
But also pain and sorrow too. It’s a risk that we all take,
To give our hearts to another,
In the hope that it will last,
But knowing that it may not.So if you find yourself in love,
Enjoy it while it lasts,
And don’t be afraid to let go,
When the time comes for it to end.For love is a temporary thing,
But the memories will last a lifetime.

The Ugly Truth
In a world of fakes and phonies,
A place where beauty hides ugliness, Commitments and devotions keep us safe,
But at what cost? We lose our emotions,
Pride and perfection become our gods,
And we become zombies in a sea of sameness. The world is changing fast,
And I am left feeling unready,
Ignorance and lack of integrity,
Morals falling like confetti. Is there still hope for humanity?
Or will we continue down this path?
The choice is ours, but the clock is ticking.

The Silent Song
Silent melody, constant allure, anchor in reality
Enduring through better or worse, dreaming of soul’s liberty
Shackles unlocking, burdens evaporating, ship docked at harbor
Salty air lifting, heavy weight gone, journey to new orderAlone, abandoned, weary emptiness seeping into bones
Choice or not, too late to turn back time, enduring atone.

It’s 2:33 am
In the still of night,
When the world’s out of sight,
And the moon shines bright,
At 2:33 am, all is right. The clock ticks on,
As the night wears on,
And the world is gone,
At 2:33 am, I’m not alone. The silence surrounds,
As the night abounds,
And the stillness astounds,
At 2:33 am, peace is found. The world is asleep,
And the night is deep,
As I watch and keep,
At 2:33 am, my soul can weep.In this moment in time,
Where the stars align,
And the world is divine,
At 2:33 am, life is just fine.

Same Page
Years ago we met on the same page, Our friendship grew with each passing age. Memories we made, time flew by, But our bond remained strong, never to die.
We laughed, we cried, we shared our dreams, Our friendship blossomed like a stream. Through thick and thin, we stood by each other, Our love and support, like no other.
Years may pass, but our friendship stays, On the same page, we’ll always play. Forever friends, till the end of time, Our bond unbreakable, like a chime.

I Wish You Could Stay
I wish you could stay, just a little while longer,
For your presence makes my heart grow stronger.
Your smile, your laugh, your gentle touch,
All of it means so very much.
The time we spend together is never enough,
I long for more, it’s true, it’s tough.
But life goes on and we must part,
Leaving memories etched in my heart.

The Illusionist of Time
The one who makes time feel like an illusion,
With a snap of fingers, creates confusion.
A master of magic, a sorcerer supreme,
Bending time and space, like in a dream.Seconds turn to hours, minutes to days,
The world around us, in a mystic haze.
Past, present, future, all become one,
As the illusionist’s work is done.Tick-tock goes the clock, but time stands still,
As the illusionist works his will.
The world is awestruck by his art,
For he is the master of time’s depart.

Endless Energy in the Hour Glass
Endless energy in the hourglass,
Kinetic power that never will pass.
Sand trickles down with each passing day,
Potential energy waiting to play.Time ticks on as the sand falls,
Renewable energy that enthralls.
Sustainable motion that never ends,
A source of power that always transcends. The hourglass stands as a symbol of time,
A source of energy that’s truly sublime.
With each grain of sand that passes through,
Endless possibilities come into view.

The Tide of Memories
Memories rising and sinking,
Like the tide that’s never shrinking,
Some come back with a forceful wave,
Others quietly find their grave.Echoes of laughter and tears,
Moments of joy and fears,
All washed away by time,
Leaving behind a rhythm divine.A symphony of life’s journey,
Played by the waves so ferny,
The tide of memories never ends,
A reminder of all life’s bends.

Awaiting the Arrival
Wind carries fallen petals,
Spreads a gentle chime,
Awaiting the time to settle,
In the rhythm of life and time. The clock ticks, the heart beats,
As we wait for what’s to come,
The wind whispers secrets sweet,
Of the journey that’s begun.Silent moments, restless thoughts,
As we wait for fate to unfold,
The wind carries what was wrought,
And brings stories yet untold.Patience is key, as time goes by,
And we await the arrival of destiny,
The wind sings a lullaby,
Of hope and possibility.

Between Sunrise and Sunset
I am a tunnel between sunrise and sunset, a journey through time,
A place where hope meets reflection, and new beginnings can climb.
The light at the end, is always within reach,
A reminder that life is a journey, and we all have a path to teach.
The shadows may be daunting, but they’re just a part of the way,
They remind us of our strength, and the light of a new day.
The journey may be long, but the destination is worth the wait,
And every step we take, is a chance to change our fate.
I am a tunnel between sunrise and sunset, a place of endless possibility,
A reminder that life is a gift, and every moment is filled with opportunity.

Erosion
Fate’s erosion shapes our lives, a force we can’t control,
A destiny that’s written, but can change and take a toll.
Time may be a healer, but it’s also a destroyer,
A transformation that’s necessary, but can fill us with fear and terror.
The winds of change may come, and we’ll be swept away,
But we’ll find our footing, and we’ll find a way to stay.
We’ll embrace the impermanence, and we’ll learn to let go,
Knowing that every moment is a chance to grow.
Fate’s erosion shapes our lives, but we can shape it too,
And find the beauty in the changes, that will make us anew.

Seizing the Day
Every moment is an opportunity,
To live life with full sincerity,
To chase your dreams and take a chance,
To find true love and sweet romance.
To climb a mountain and touch the sky,
To spread your wings and learn to fly,
To make a difference and leave a mark,
To embrace the light and chase the dark.
For time is fleeting, and life is short,
And every second is a precious resort,
To live, to love, to laugh, to play,
To seize the day, in every single way.

The Cycle of Use and Abuse
Use and abuse, a cycle so cruel,
A tale as old as time, but never a jewel.
We take what we need, without a second thought,
And leave behind the wreckage, with no remorse or fraught.
From the earth’s resources to the people we love,
We use them up and discard them like an old glove.
Nature’s beauty and bounty, we take for granted,
Ignoring the damage we cause, it’s all slanted.
The cycle repeats, with no end in sight,
As we continue to use and abuse with all our might.
But it’s not too late to make a change,
To break the cycle and rearrange.
Let’s cherish what we have, and use with care,
And repair the damage that we’ve caused everywhere.
For only then can we truly thrive,
And keep the cycle of use and abuse alive.

Seize the Day
Every moment is an opportunity,
To live our lives with unity,
To chase our dreams and make them real,
To find the strength to break the seal.
We cannot change the past, it’s true,
But the future is up to me and you,
So let us not waste a single day,
For time is precious, it slips away.
Let’s take each step with purpose and drive,
And let our passion keep our hopes alive,
For every moment is a chance to be,
The best that we can be, and set ourselves free.

Fleeting Moments #Poetry
Barely a moment, but how it flies,
A fleeting second, before our eyes.
We try to hold on, to make it last,
But time slips away, so very fast. The sun rises, and the day begins,
Then before we know it, the evening wins.
The years go by, and we grow old,
As memories fade, and stories are told. But in those moments, so brief and bright,
We find our joy, our love, our light.
We hold them close, and cherish them so,
For in them, we find the strength to grow.So let us savor every moment we’re given,
And hold on tight, to the joy of living.
For though life is short, and time is fleeting,
Our memories will endure, forever repeating.

Remember Me
Sometimes I wonder, do you
Remember me like I remember you?
The moments we shared, the laughter we knew,
The love that we had, so pure and true.
Do you recall the warmth of my embrace,
The smile on my face, the light in my gaze?
Or have you forgotten, let time erase,
The memories we made in our happy place?
I think of you often, with a bittersweet heart,
Longing for a connection that’s been torn apart.
But perhaps it’s for the best, we’ve grown apart,
And our paths have diverged, right from the start.
Still, I can’t help but wonder, do you
Remember me like I remember you?

One life
One life. One life only, it’s all we’ve got,
Time and opportunity, they’re worth a lot.
Purpose and meaning, they’re what we seek,
Legacy and choices, they’re what we’ll leave.Regret and fulfillment, they’re two sides of a coin,
Happiness and gratitude, they’re what we’ll join.
Reflection and contemplation, they’re what we’ll do,
As we ponder the preciousness, of life so true.So make the most of it, while you still can,
For life is fleeting, like a grain of sand.
Chase your dreams, and follow your heart,
For that’s where true fulfillment, will always start.choices, Fulfillment, gratitude, happiness, legacy, life, meaning, opportunity, poem, Poetry, purpose, reflection, regret, Time

The Waiting Game
Waiting for something that never comes,
Hope and anticipation, they weigh like tons.
Patience wears thin, as time ticks away,
Expectation turns to uncertainty, day by day.Disappointment looms, like a dark cloud,
Frustration builds, like a crowd.
Persistence and perseverance, they’re put to the test,
As faith and trust, they’re put to the rest.Dreams and aspirations, they seem so real,
But reality bites, like a sharp steel.
Illusion fades, like a mirage in the desert,
Emotions and feelings, they’re left to assert. The waiting game, it’s a tricky one,
It can be won, but it can also be undone.
So hold on tight, and don’t let go,
For the train may come, when you least know.

Joyful Heartbeats
Joyful Heartbeats
My heart beats with joy and light,
A rhythm that fills me with delight.
Each beat a promise of love and grace,
A symphony that time cannot erase. With each beat, my soul takes flight,
Soaring to heights of pure delight.
I revel in this precious gift,
A heart that beats with love so swift. My spirit sings with each beat,
A song of joy that is so sweet.
This melody will forever play,
In my heart, day after day.

I sit and stare at the walls
I sit and stare at the walls
I sit and stare at the walls, Silence echoes through these halls, My thoughts drift into the unknown, Trapped in this room, all alone.
The walls, they close in on me, A prisoner of my mind, it seems, Lost in my own space and time, Trying to outrun the daily grind.

Memories of My Unkept Promises
Memories of my unkept promises,
Haunt me like a ghostly apparition.
Regret and melancholy, my constant companions,
As I ponder my broken trust and failed ambition.Time has passed, and the house stands abandoned,
A symbol of the promises I made but never kept.
The weeds and vines now crawling up the walls,
A testament to the neglect that I’ve wept. But in this desolate emptiness, I find redemption,
And the hope of forgiveness begins to grow.
For even though my promises were left unkept,
The seeds of change were planted long ago.So I’ll tear down the boards and let in the light,
And tend to the weeds and vines with care.
For in this brokenness, I’ll find the strength,
To keep my promises and start anew, if only to repair.

This Time It Was Mockery
This Time It Was Mockery
This time it was mockery, that cut me so deep,
A world of darkness, that’s hard to sweep,
The words, they stung, with a venomous bite,
A world of pain, that’s hard to outfight. The laughter, it echoed, with a cruel intent,
A world of betrayal, that’s hard to prevent,
The tears, they flowed, with a heart so heavy,
A world of emotion, that’s hard to levy. But even in the darkness, there’s a glimmer of light,
A reminder of hope, that’s forever in sight.

If the Gods Offered Me Immortality
If the Gods Offered Me Immortality
If the gods offered me immortality,
A life without end, for all eternity,
I’d hesitate, and ask for more time,
For a life without end, is a life without rhyme.Time, it’s precious, and fleeting too,
A reminder that life, is for us to renew.

As the roses fade
As the roses fade,
Their beauty still remains,
Memories of love and romance,
Etched forever in our hearts.Their scent lingers in the air,
A gentle reminder of what was,
But also of what could be,
If we hold on to love’s embrace. For even as the petals fall,
And the colors fade away,
Love endures, ever steadfast,
Through the changing of the seasons. So let us cherish what we have,
And hold it close, while we may,
For like the roses in the garden,
Life is fleeting, and time slips away.

Time Will Tell #Poetry
Time Will Tell
In the midst of uncertainty,
We search for answers, for clarity.
A quest for truth, a search for light,
To guide us through the darkest night. But sometimes, the answers are unclear,
And we’re left with doubt and fear.
We wonder what the future holds,
And if our story will ever unfold.Yet, time will tell, this we know,
A universal truth that we can show.
For with every passing day,
We grow and learn, and find our way.The future may be unknown,
But we’ll face it with a heart of stone.
For time will tell, and we’ll see,
What the future holds, and what it will be.So let us trust in the journey ahead,
And leave behind the doubts and dread.
For with each step, we’ll find our way,
And time will tell the story we’ll convey.

First time in forever
First time in forever
Version 1
A forever of firsts, all in this moment we share.
Time vanishes, only your eyes I see there.
The world quiet, unfurling a path for two,
This first bloom of forever, my heart’s home in you.Hand warm in mine, all faded but your dear face,
Seasons may turn, days shall run their race.
But here in the now love’s forever begins,
This first time and last, where your forever my heart wins.Version 2
Forever found, in this moment we meet.
Time vanishes, only you I greet.
All fades but your face, all falls away
Except where in your eyes I softly lay.The world widens, vastness of love unbound,
Each sweet kiss eternal, all else unwound.
Hand in warm hand together now on a path unknown we roam
This first time in forever, beloved, leading us home.

Eventually forgetting the memories,
Of moments so sweet, and times of unease,
The memories, they fade, with the passage of time,
A world of change, that’s hard to confine. The laughter, the tears, they all slip away,
As time marches on, with each passing day,
The memories, they linger, but never quite stay,
A reminder of life, that’s hard to portray. But even as the memories fade from our sight,
They remain in our hearts, as a source of light,
A reminder of the past, that’s forever in flight.change, eventually, flight, Forgetting, laughter, linger, memories, moments, past, poem, poems, Poetry, Source of Light, tears, Time

A Month Came Then Passed By
A Month Came Then Passed By
A month came then passed by,
Like a whisper in the sky.
Days turned to weeks, then to years,
As we laughed and cried, and faced our fears. We danced in the rain, and basked in the sun,
Living life to the fullest, always having fun.
And though time may pass, and memories fade,
Our love will always remain, and never degrade.

Time Passed Me By #Poetry
Time Passed Me By
Days go by, time moves on,
Time passed me by, I’m all alone.
Moments pass, memories fade,
Time passed me by, I’m in the shade.Years go by, life moves on,
Time passed me by, I’m all gone.
Youthful dreams, my future’s dim,
Time passed me by, I’m in a whim.Life’s a blur, I’m in a daze,
Time passed me by, I’m in a haze.
Hope and faith, I can’t see,
Time passed me by, I’m stuck in a sea.My life’s a blur, I’m in despair,
Time passed me by, I’m in a snare.

Our Memories
Our Memories
Moments made, memories meant to last,
Mild and mellow, magic in the past.
Merry and meaningful, moments we miss,
Memories made, moments we reminisce.Misty and mystical, memories meander,
Morphing and merging, memories we remember.
Memories that matter, memories that move,
Moments of magic, memories we love.© VishalDutia
